Alex grunted as her blurry vision cleared up a bit. Opening her eyes and staring up at the ceiling of her tiny bunk, she just stared for a while, not fully awake.
She stayed like that and waited for who knows what. She closed her eyes again and absentmindedly patted the blanket, trying to find her phone under the thick sheets.
She felt her phone and slid her arm under the blanket and grabbed it, holding it for a mere minute. She opened her tired eyes again and brushed her red hair from her face as she looked at the phone's lock screen.
9:14
"What the hell?!" Alex exclaimed in a panic. She threw her covers away from her body and got out of the tiny bunk making sure she didn't hit her head.
"Why didn't anyone wake me up? Am I late to the meet up?" She questioned herself. She didn't want to be late to the meet up and she really wanted to see Saywecanfly live (even though she can simply do that in another day).
She rushed to the lounge of the bus and checked where a piece of paper, also known as the schedule for Warped, was hanging. That paper told when and what days are the meet ups.
After scanning the lounge's walls quickly, she spotted the paper. Staggering to it in a rush, she checked the time.
"Okay... Oh, it's at 1:00 pm." She let out a sigh of relief. Thank God, she isn't late.
Alex waited a moment to let her mini heart attack to die down a bit. She walked over to the fridge and opened it. She smiled as she picked up a can from the many Peace Teas in the fridge. She sat down at the seats and opened the can and sipped it.
She examined the can she held in her hand, smiling at it thoughtfully.
"I wonder why Johnnie went through the trouble to get these for me..." Alex thought.
Honestly, she didn't know why he even did this, but Alex felt lucky and thankful for the generous gift Johnnie gave her; a whole warped tour supply of Peace Teas right in their fridge. It was a really sweet thing for Johnnie to do for her.
"Oh, Alex you're awake." Robby's voice interrupted her thoughts. Alex looked to the bus door to see Robby standing by it.
"Ha, yea I am." She yawned.
"I almost thought I slept through the meet up." She explained. Robby went over to the fridge and opened it.
"It's okay, the meet up is at one o'clock, I think." He said and started moving the peace teas out of the fridge and setting it on the floor.
"Hey, where is everybody?" Alex looked down to the bunks; no one was in the bus. She didn't really hear anyone either when she was getting up.
Robby got a can of Dr. Pepper from the back of the fridge and replaced the Peace Teas back into the fridge before closing it.
"I'm pretty sure everybody went to the venue already, you know to set up the Youtubers tent and look around or to watch some of the bands performing." Alex nodded her head and sipped her tea again. Robby stretched his arms out a bit and started walking down to the bus door.
