Truth or Dare

Today, Mark, Bob, and Wade were at my apartment, and we were playing games. It was pretty normal, us screaming at a screen, then screaming at each other. We had fun! But the problem is, I tried my best not to get out of hand, because I had a huge crush on Mark. I didn't want to get too weird.

Then Wade said randomly out of the blue, "hey guys, wanna play truth or dare?" Oh dear god no. Wade knows I have a thing for Mark, and I know he'll try to do something. Shit.

"Where the hell did that come from?" Bob said with a weird look. Mark and I just looked nervous. Wait, what? Why was Mark nervous?

Wade replied, "dunno, just sounds like fun!" Giving me an evil look. Shit, Wade, no. Do not.

"OK sure. Why not? Mark, (y/n), what do you think?"

"Oh uhh, sure. Sounds fun." I say. Hopefully Mark won't notice anything. I doubt he even likes me.

Mark says, "uuh, yeah. I guess it wouldnt hurt for a round of truth or dare." God I hate this game.

"OK, I'll go first. Bob, truth or dare?" Says Wade.

"Hhhmm. Truth. And it better not be anything gross, you sick bastard!" We all laughed.

"Jeez, fine. Uuhhh.... I can't think of anything." We laughed at Wade, and he said, "well I'm sorry I'm not as creative as you guys!"

Bob inturupted, "fine, I'll ask someone. Mark. Truth or dare?" Mark looked nervous again, and Bob had an evil grin.

"Um, dare, I guess?"

"OK, I dare you to kiss (y/n)." Wait, what?! Bob please no! I could feel my face heat up, and I tried to hide it.

"Woah, don't you think that's a bit far? What if we're uncomfortable with that?" Mark says. He's blushing too. Why is he blushing? I couldn't take it anymore. I had to tell him.

"You know what, fuck it!" I then took Mark by the collar of his shirt, and pulled him into a kiss. Then I pulled away and said, "I'm sorry if you don't feel the same way, but I like you. And I can't hide it anymore. I'm sorry." Then I got up and left my apartment leaving them all in shock. I need to find somewhere to calm down..... The park across the street will do.

Mark's Pov

She kissed me. Then left. I was so shocked, I didn't know what to do, but I'm so happy! I need to find her. "I'll be back." I told Bob and Wade, then left in search for (y/n). She could be anywhere. I went outside, and saw her across the street on a bench, with her head in her hands.

I went and sat down by her. She didn't notice me yet. I grabbed her face and lifted it up to mine. "I love you, (y/n). I would've followed you as soon as you left, but I was so overwhelmed with happiness I couldn't move. I know I've only known you for a few months, but it has been the best time of my life. Please, don't ever leave me." Then I pulled her in for a long passionate kiss, and she wrapped her arms around my neck instantly.

Your Pov

I could feel him smiling through the kiss, and I was smiling too. After a while, we pulled away for air, our foreheads still touching, and he said, "so, can I call you my girlfriend from now on?"

I smiled. "Hell yeah. I love you, Mark."

He chuckled. "I love you too........ Now let's go back to the apartment and brag to Bob and Wade." I giggled and nodded, and he grabbed my hand as we headed back.

We got to the door, and as soon as Mark opened it he yelled, "LOOK who finally got a girlfriend, bitches!" We all laughed, and Mark and I told them what happened. Then I picked up a controller and unpaused the game. "Alright, now who's ready to get there ass beat in smash bros?!"

Yep. This is how Mark and I became a couple, and in my opinion, I couldn't have chosen better. Life really is crazy, sometimes.
