Be Mine Forever

Today, Mark was taking me somewhere special. I kept asking him where, but just says "nope! It's a surprise!" We've been dating for two years now, and it was our anniversary. He told me to dress nice, and we would go to a special place. I knew it was gonna be good.

We drove for a while, and it was starting to get dark. Then we parked, and Mark handed me a blindfold. "Here, put this on. And don't peek!" I giggled and took the blindfold and put it on.

He helped me out of the car, then picked me up bridal style. "What are you doing?"

"Carrying you, so you don't trip or fall." I was a bit clumsy.

After a bit of walking, I heard music playing. What is going on? Mark set me down, then took off my blindfold. I looked around in awe! We were in a small grove, surrounded with trees. There were small lanterns everywhere, and a radio with music playing at the foot of a tree. And a camera? It was beautiful. "Oh my god. This is... amazing."

Mark smiled, then took my hand. "And you're about to know why a camera is there in a minute. (Y/n), I love you. I love every second I spend with you, and my life will always be amazing with you in it. So, I'm going to ask you this one question." He then got down on his knee, and pulled out a box. And opened it. "Will you, please, be mine forever? Marry me?"

I just stood there, with my hand over my mouth, holding back tears. "Yes. I love you, Mark." He got up and picked me up, spinning me around. Then he put the ring on my finger. I giggled, letting a tear escape my cheek, while my hands on his cheeks. He smiled, whiping away my tear. Then we kissed, and this kiss was the most passionate I've ever had. "I love you, Mark." "I love you too, (y/n). Always have, always will."
