Moonlit Thoughts

25 12 4

(Verse 1)

The sky looks so beautiful; it's almost evening,

But all I'm thinking of is you—I must be dreaming.

You're beyond words, even the Moon praises you,

My heart skips a beat seeing your reflection.

(Chorus)

You're my rhythm, my melody, my perfect sound,

In a world full of noise, you're the calm I've found.

Beneath neon lights or a quiet midnight view,

All I see, all I feel, it's always you.

(Verse 2)

The night comes alive, neon lights in the air,

But nothing compares to the way you care.

Even the stars can't steal your glow,

You're my universe, and I hope you know.

(Chorus)

You're my rhythm, my melody, my perfect sound,

In a world full of noise, you're the calm I've found.

Beneath neon lights or a quiet midnight view,

All I see, all I feel, it's always you.

(Bridge)

I scroll through memories like my favorite playlist,

Every laugh, every smile, I don't want to miss this.

You're the sunrise in my darkest night,

Even the Moon's jealous of your light.

(Outro)

The sky looks so beautiful; it's almost evening,

And here I am, caught up in this feeling.

My heart skips a beat seeing your reflection,

You're my forever, my Moonlit connection.

Backstory: The story behind this song is interesting because one afternoon before evening I was staring at the sky and watched the sun set. I was astounded by the beauty unveiling before my eyes, it was very breathtaking. So that's how I came up with this song! Initially, I was mumbling the first lyrics of verse 1 and then wrote down the entire song.
