Fear coursed through Camille's body as the burning piece of plant shot straight at her. And it wasn't a harmless plant like a daffodil or grass. It was a tree the height of a two storey building, and what more, a flaming one.
"I'm gonna die," Camille thought and she shut her eyes tight, not being able to watch the oncoming scene unfold. A scream ripped itself from her throat as she shielded her face. Red hot flames licked her face and the crackling of wood was somewhat deafening. Camille waited for the tree to come colliding. Her body was tense and her legs were stiff and rooted to the ground. She heard something dropping to the ground. It sounded almost like rain, but Camille wasn't wet and the it sounded more like tiny fragments of wood dropping. Wood. Camille slowly peeled her eyes open and saw no tree. Only a crowd of people looking at her in...awe. Smoke started rising from the ground and Camille looked down. Around her were chunks of blackened wood and twigs, smoke rising off them, but no longer burning. She looked around for the person who saved her but saw no one. Then, the black haired boy came running towards her. Up close, she could see he had long hair and a sharp nose. His round face made him look young and boyish. However, his eyes were full of worry and surprise. His bushy eyesbrows were knitted and his started babbling what Camille took to be an apology. As he went on about how sorry he was, and that he had never seen her before, Camille saw that over her shoulder, the brown haired boy was casually strolling towards them. He chuckled as he neared, hearing the boy's apology, causing the black haired boy to cut himself short and whirl around.
"What's so funny? We almost killed the girl!" Black haired boy spat out.
"Well, we didn't. She can clearly handle herself, so chill out, Darryl"
"Still, she's all pale and trembly. We shocked her alright,"
Camille realised her trembling knees and slowly stilled herself.
"I am really sorry. Riegan's really stubborn and refuses to apologise so I apologise on his behalf," Darryl whirled back to face Camille.
"That was pretty impressive, what you did there. Who did you learn it from?" Riegan cut in as he leaned forward. His long brown hair fell across his face and his green eyes twinkled brightly as Camille slowly registed the words. "I...I didn't do anything..." she stuttered and Riegan raised his eyebrow. "Oh yes you did! You just put out the flames and disintegrated that tree," Darryl said as he gestured to the ground, where the tiny bits of wood lay. "I didn't do that. It was probably someone else." By now the crowd had gathered around and listened in on the conversation. Camille suddenly felt sick again, like the last time she had eaten a bad piece of bread and she vomited for hours. "Oh no, that was you all right. We saw it," Darryl continued. Just then, Perez appeared in between Darryl and Camille. He had a piece of bread in his hand and a red hand imprint on his face. "Camille! Are you ok? I accidently teleported to a bakery in France and this lady thought I was stealing her bread so she started slapping me and I came back as fast as I could." Perez rushed to say. The he saw everyone gathered around him. He looked back at Camille and said," What's up?"
