"Where is this place?" Camille thought as she walked slightly behind Perez. The road was bumpy and full of cracks. Dilapidated buildings towered over trees and occasionally, a light would flicker.
"This is Vertiron, where the exiled live." Perez replied.

"But there's no one in sight.."Camille muttered as she looked around in confusion.

"Look carefully, you'll see them," Perez responded as he pointed at an empty bench. Camille stared at the bench, not realising she had stopped walking. Slowly but surely, a faint wisp appeared in the shape of an elderly man. Next to him sitting on the bench was an old woman. Camille watched as they both attempted to stand up. However, weighing them to the ground were huge bricks chained to their ankles and wrists.

"Oh no! That poor couple! We have got to help them!" Camille said as she started walking towards the elderly couple. However, Perez grabbed hold of her wrist and replied,"Hold your horses! There is a reason why they are chained to the bricks and it's best not to help them." Camille folded her arms and stared at Perez, waiting for an explaination.

"Vertiron is where people who have commited crimes go to. It's a bit like the Fields Of Punishment in Greek mythology but that is not a true story. Anyway, once you commited a horrible crime and don't repent, then you will be sent here to be punished for eternity. So the couple must have done something horrible to get this punishment." Camille turned back to stare at the elderly couple, and at their kind faces. She couldn't believe someone with such caring features had done a horrendous crime.

"Furthermore, just touching one of the exiled will cause you to be an exile as well. That's the law. So if you want to be an exile, go ahead and help them out." Perez continued, causing Camille to shiver in fear.

As Camille walked on, she saw thousands of people, both young and old, being put under terrible punishment. By the time she had reached their destination, Camille was too busy staring at all the exiles that she accidently bumped into the litte boy.

"Oops sorry!" Camille apologised as Perez said," Here we are!" In front of them was an old hospital. White paint was peeling off the building and cracks appeared all over the walls and the door. An old sign creaked as it swung in the wind. The sign read "Br ght n Ho pita " , with the letters "i", "o", "s" and "l" missing.

"Here? Are you serious?" Camille questioned, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Welcome to the academy!" Perez cheerfully said as he swung the door open.
