Camille looked around for any tell-tale signs of life in the hospital to no avail. When Perez had opened the door, she expected the place to be bustling with life. I mean, an academy was supposed to be filled with people right? The hospital was shrouded in darkness, which made Camille squint as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. Lights hanging from the ceiling swayed slightly even though there was no breeze, as if a ghost was using the light as a swing. At times, the lights would burst out in sparks and scare Camille, although she never screamed. As the trio walked further into the hospital, Perez swung his torchlight around as he sureyed their surroundings. Cobwebs glinted in the bright light of the torch as it swept around the room. Perez walked up to the reception counter and stopped quietly with purpose, as if waiting for something.
"Hi guys! I am so happy! I didn't know there were visitors! You know, I've been alone here for a long time." A chirpy voice which did not suit the dark gloomy hospital echoed around the room as a vapor appeared slowly. At first, thinking it was the exiled, Camille stepped back in shock, but after a while, the vapor materialised into a human being. Curly blonde hair framed her cherubic face and her perfectly lipsticked lips were spread into a smile to show perfect white teeth. As if the woman was a light, the whole room brightened up.
"How are you Kelly?" Perez politely asked.
"Perez! Long time no see! I cannot believe how much you have grown!" Kelly chattered in excitement,"And you brought little Wally!" Kelly turned her gaze to the little boy, who beamed back at her.
"And who's this?" Kelly questioned as she turned to look at Camille.
"I'm Camille. Camille Trent." Camille introduced herself to Kelly.
"Well, nice to meet you. I'm Kelly. Just Kelly. "
"Kelly, could we have three tickets to Frewood?" Wally asked and Kelly smiled,"Sure hon, that would be three dollars." Kelly smiled as three tickets appeared in one hand as she beckoned for three dollars with her other hand.
As Wally handed over three dollars, Camille asked Perez,"Tickets? Can't you just teleport us to where we have to go?"
"Well, rules say we have to check in through the security gate and you know me, my aim sucks. Also, it would be interesting to see how you'll cope with the transportation."Perez replied as he gave a crooked grin.
"Ok, you guys should know where to go. I hope I will see you all soon! Including you, Camille!" Kelly waved as Perez, Wally and Camille walked away.
Perez walked towards a closed door. On it stated "Emergency Room".
"Don't be too shocked" Wally whispered in Camille's ear as Perez swung the door open.
