The desert was alive with chaos.

By the time Bruce and Dick arrived, the fight was already in full swing. The sleek dune buggy Bruce had commandeered roared over the dunes, its headlights slicing through the darkness.

They spotted the battle before they reached it. Flashes of light illuminated the night as Aubrey's flames erupted against her attackers. Addi fought beside her, her wind-based powers creating cyclones that sent sand and enemies alike flying.

Bruce brought the buggy to a screeching halt, and both men leapt into action.

Dick took in the scene, his eyes widening. "What the hell are those things?"

Their attackers were unlike anything they'd seen before. They had blue hair and stark white wings, their forms almost ethereal in the moonlight. Yet their movements were sharp and calculated, their weapons gleaming with deadly precision.

"They're members of her territory," Aubrey growled as she got thrown back to where the two stood, not even pausing in her assault as she launched back into the fray. Her flames surged forward, engulfing one of the winged figures.

One of the attackers, a man with glowing eyes, sneered at Addi. "This is for the good of the Air Court. You should've stayed in your place."

Addi's eyes narrowed, her voice steady despite the chaos. "If you think I'm going down without a fight, you're sorely mistaken."

She launched a powerful gust of wind, knocking him off balance. Aubrey followed with a blast of fire that sent him sprawling.

Dick tackled one of the attackers, gritting his teeth as he struggled against the otherworldly strength of his opponent. "Windy, care to explain who these guys are?"

"They're from my territory," Addi said, her voice strained as she deflected another attack. "They think I'm unfit to lead."

Bruce's voice cut through the chaos, sharp and commanding. "Focus. We'll sort this out later."

The attackers regrouped, one stepping forward. "Lady Windy," he said, his voice cold and measured. "Your fragile countenance weakens us all. Surrender and spare us this embarrassment."

Addi straightened, her eyes blazing with defiance. "You think im fragile? Want to step forward and test that theory?"

The woman behind him scoffed. "You lack the strength to lead."

Addi smirked. "And you lack the brains to realize you'll fail."

Aubrey stepped forward, flames licking at her boots. Her voice was low and menacing. "You try it Bitch. You wouldn't last an hour in the asylum we got raised in. Your fragile little mind would SHATTER."

She launched herself at the group, her flames surging around her like a living entity. The fight escalated, the desert coming alive with fire, wind, and the clash of blades.

The female was a formidable opponent, but Aubrey fought with a fury that was almost terrifying. Her flames burned brighter with each strike, forcing him back step by step.

Dick and Bruce engaged with the attackers as well, blades clashing against each other. Aubrey took down two before turning and driving one of their own swords into the back of the male Bruce had been fighting.

The female Dick had been dodging suddenly stopped, staring at Aubrey with wide eyes.

"It's you. Your the one they call the hell flower. The one who made the demons bargain."

Aubrey's laughter was cold and sharp. "You have no idea." She growled as she raised a hand to the sky. The female screeched, her eyes widening with terror.

Suddenly, the sky erupted. Fireballs rained down like meteors, striking the winged warriors with devastating precision. Screams echoed through the desert as the flames consumed them.

Dick and Bruce stopped to watch the display. Dick leaned over to Bruce before whispering. "This must be how she burned down Anarexia..."

"Antraxia. And no actually, the power and technique i used for that was a lot stronger than this. It makes a simple move like that look like childs play." Aubrey quipped, her arms crossed as sher red hair glowed bright orange.

The attackers had been demolished. All but one fell.

Addi froze as recognition dawned. "Roirson," she whispered.

The last man standing, Roirson, was scorched but unbroken. His voice was steady as he addressed her. "You've proven yourself a liability. Your reign will only lead to ruin."

Addi scoffed. "You underestimate me."

Aubrey stepped forward, her flames crackling ominously. "Do you really want to test that theory?"

Addi moved in front of her, and Aubrey let her flames die out. The full moon lit up the desert, and Aubrey huffed as she walked back to where Dick and Bruce stood.

"Whats happening?" Dick asked her, and Aubrey shook her head as she fiddled with the zipper on the front of her suit.

"Also when did you change?!"

Aubrey squared him with a look before rolling her eyes and explaining.

"Its some of the basic abilities my kind are able to do. Quick changes, basic ruins, weapon summoning. Most of us who have stronger abilities are able to do those things. As for what we are about to witness, Riorson seems to think he has a chance at beating my sister in combat, so she's going to give him a chance to prove it. If he loses, I kill him. If he wins, he kills her and i still kill him. Sounds fun right?" Her voice was saccharine sweet and sarcastic, and Dick looked at her like she was crazy.

Bruce kept his face neutral under the cowl.

Addi sighed, before muttering something under her breath. Suddenly the wind picked up and a bright light emitted from her body. A flash went off, and where windy once stood in her black fighting suit, a woman with flowing dark blue hair and pristine white wings now stood in a white suit with scarfs tied around her waist and connecting from her back to her arms.

"SHE HAS WINGS TOO?!" Dick screeched.

"Please Bluebird, my ears don't deserve that. And yeah, almost all of her territory has them. She hides them most of the time though cause as a kid she wasn't allowed to show them. And Anna targeted them first when Addi screwed up."

Riorson flew forward and brought his sword down, but Addi put up a shield of air that blew him backwards. The battle was swift from there. No matter what technique he used, she countered it. For every close miss he had, she got 5 good hits in. Before long Riorson was bleeding and panting on the ground, spent and tired. Addi sighed, and another bright light went off before she was back in her normal form.

"You can't kill him. It was righteous combat." Addi stated as Aubrey moved to go towards Riorson.

Aubrey scoffed, but stood down regardless.

Suddenly a burst of wind went off as Riorson jumped up and charged, swinging his sword at both Addi and Aubrey.

In a split second, a burst of flame went off, and the winged man became nothing but a pile of ash.

When the flame cleared Aubrey was holding the sword in her hand, and Addi had dropped to the ground to dodge the attack. Smoke was rolling out of Aubreys mouth, and after a harsh exhale, the woman turned and gave Bruce and Dick a tight smile. She dropped the sword to the ground, her hand dripping with blood from where she grabbed the blade.

"Nice seeing you all again. Enjoy your trip back to Gotham!" She muttered, before disappearing into a ball of fire into the night sky.

Bruce and Dick exchanged a look, and Addi shook her head as she walked up to them.

"Time to just drop the truth bomb on her. Cause she definitely thinks those people were here because of her."
