CONVERSE GIRL
"NO, I'm fine. Like, seriously—I'm okay." Jackson spoke as he hid the visible marks at the back of his neck with his palm, trying to ignore all of the teenagers' worried glances, especially Clove's ones.
"That didn't sound okay at all." Allison scoffed silently with a grimace as a vivid memory of Jackson screaming out in pain a couple of moments ago. "I said I'm fine!"Jackson exclaimed once more.
"It's been there for days. He won't tell me what happened."the strawberry blonde spoke up with an eye roll causing Jackson to shot her a mean glare "As if you actually care." The boy scoffed.
Weirdly, the way Jackson had spoken to Lydia and the way she simply looked down at her heels in silence didn't sit out to clove, making her feel a strange way of sympathy towards the Martin girl, even tho Clove wasn't a big fan of Lydia didn't mean she deserved to be spoken to when all she did was state out an act of carnets towards her boyfriend.
"All right, can we not argue for half a second here?"The brunette spoke as she crossed her arms to her her chest while fixing her posture "Where's Scott? He should be back by now."Allison sighed as she looked away.
But just then, the groupe of teens thought they crossed eyesights with Scott at the other side of the door. Allison turned the doorknob but it remained look, giving them all an idea that Scott had Locked them inside.
The argent girl banged on the door as tears steamed down her face "Scott! Scott!" She yelled "Where is he going?" Lydia asked as she stood by Allison's side "Scott! Scott! Scott! Scott!" The Raven haired girl yelled once more.
"Stop! Stop! Do you hear that?" Clove yelled as she tried to break the doorknob off, but her strength was only limited to Human strength.
"Shh..listen!"Lydia shushed Clove down as the three girls followed by Jackson and Scott made their way towards the windows where police sirens could be heard.
...
"You sure it was Derek Hale?" Sheriff Stilinski asked Scott, Stiles and Clove skeptically. "Yes."
Clove nodded as she bit down her nails nervously. "I saw him, too." Stiles nodded "What about the janitor?" Scott spoke up."We're still looking." The Sheriff sighed softly,
"Did you check under the bleachers? Under them?"Scott rambled anxiously "Yeah, Scott, we looked. We pulled them out, just like you asked. There's nothing." Noah said"We're not making this up!" The brunette said defensively as she raised her arm away from her chest "I know..I believe you,i do." The sheriff assured softly as he held up his hands
"No, you don't. You have this look like you feel bad for us. Like you wanna believe us, but I know you don't."Scott said, furrowing his eyebrows
"Listen—we're gonna search this whole school. We're gonna find him. Okay? I promise."The Sheriff said before a deputy called out his name.
He glanced towards the trio "Stay.the three of you." He ordered before stepping away from them, earning the teens a private moment to speak to each other freely, but Clove didn't feel the urge to speak a single word, not even to Scott or stiles.
She slowly moved past them and situated herself in a quiet corner where all she could hear was the distant officers speaking In silence.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" A masculine voice said softly, the girl raised her gaze up as she met eyes with the whittemore boy and scoffed silently and wiped a tear that she didn't know had rolled down her cheek with the back of her sleeve.
"Your girlfriend's watching." She whispered as the two teens met eyes with Lydia who looked like she wanted to stab her knuckles down Clove's throat.
Jackson exhaled and turned back at her as he lowered himself down until sitting down besides the brunette " I don't really care." He whispered with a soft smile, but this time, Clove didn't push away Jackson, or shot back a snarky comment. She returned the smile with the same softness,
Before her look darkening as she remembered herself being dragged down the Gym court by the beast. "Now are you gonna tell me what's troubling you, Waldorf?" The boy asked.
She exhaled deeply and closed her eyes for a brief moment before opening them "everything." She whispered honestly, "do you ever feel like your mind's a never ending hole of questions that can't be answered." She whispered softly
Jackson glanced at her side profile his look softening.as much as he hated to admit it, he never really got off Clove. He sighed softly and nodded slowly "all the time." He answered
She rotated her head to look at him, not knowing that the jerk Jackson had grown to be had some decency buried inside. The two held eye contact before a vivid image of Lydia popping into the whittemore boy's mind as he blinked and knew what he was doing was wrong.
He looked away and cleared his throat as he stood up "Yeah, sorry I should go." He said quickly as he stood up, towering over Clove "Good talk, Waldorf?" He whispered with a smirk that she returned back " Good talk, Whittemore."
...
"Are you cheating on me?" The strawberry blonde spoke up in a low tone as she sat on the passenger seat of her boyfriend's Porsche.
The question caught Jackson off guard, he did like Lydia, but she was just another one of those teenage girls who follow him around like a last puppy because of his privileges, looks, money. But he couldn't ignore that he did feel something for Clove.
"What? No!" The dirty blonde haired boy spoke firmly as she rotated her head to Jackson who couldn't meet her gaze. Sure he was a jerk sometimes, but he wasn't cruel to the point that he would cheat on someone.
"So there's nothing going on with you and converse girl?."The Martin girl shrugged
"She has a name."
"Wasn't an answer." Lydia added as she furrowed her eyebrows in suspicion. "There's nothing going on with me and Clove. We're just friends, we broke up for a reason." Jackson said, trying not to hint out to his girlfriend the hesitation in his tone.
"Promise?" The Strawberry blonde whispered softly, jutting her bottom lip out as all the suspicion she had felt faded away, her being obviously too naive to know that Jackson was looking at Clove a way he never did to her.
Do it now.Jackson thought. End it.right here. Right now.
He looked over at her and nodded making the corners of her mouth twitch into a smirk as she unfastened her seatbelt, her leg swinging over as she situated herself on top of his thighs as a way of seduction. Jackson was a hormonal teenager, he should be happy that his girlfriend was on his lap.
But he wasn't.
"What your not going pro tonight?"she scoffed as her hand gripped onto the side of his neck "not really."he mumbled awkwardly
She tugged on the waistband of his jeans for attention making him take her hand and snatch it away from his pants "okay stop!"he exclaimed in annoyance
"I can't..do this anymore."
