Chapter 1: Ground Zero

Plankton was hard at work in the Chum Bucket, focusing on his latest scheme: a powerful poison designed to finally take down Mr. Krabs. He had spent weeks perfecting the formula—a deadly mixture that would wipe out Krabs and leave the Krusty Krab in shambles.

Sitting at his workbench, Plankton carefully held a test tube filled with a bright, dangerous liquid. He added a few more drops of a special ingredient—Aqua-X Sodium—and watched as it began to react in the bowl beside him, creating a glowing, toxic mix.

"Finally, the perfect weapon," Plankton muttered to himself, grinning evilly.

Just as he was about to add the finishing touch, the door slid open with a whir, and his robotic wife, Karen, rolled into the room.

"What are you doing, Plankton?" Karen asked, her mechanical voice laced with concern as she glanced at the glowing concoction on the table.

"I'm making a poison for Krabs," Plankton replied, not even looking up. "This is the one, Karen. This will put him out of business for good."

Karen's robotic eyes widened in disbelief. "Plankton, no! You can’t just poison him—what if it goes too far? What if something goes wrong?"

But Plankton was already holding the test tube tightly, unwilling to listen. He knew this would work—he had tested everything meticulously.

Karen rolled closer, her metal wheels humming as she reached out to stop him. "Plankton, stop!" she demanded, trying to pry the test tube from his tiny hand.

In the struggle, Karen’s mechanical arm accidentally knocked over a vial of Aqua-X Sodium, causing it to spill into the poisonous mixture. The chemical immediately reacted with a violent hiss, glowing brighter and more unstable by the second.

"What have you done?!" Plankton screamed as the mixture bubbled and foamed, the unstable chemicals causing the whole room to shake.

In a panic, Plankton dove for his Mecha Plankton suit, hoping to escape before the explosion. But it was too late. The mixture exploded in a massive burst of green and red gas, shattering the walls of the Chum Bucket.

The building was torn apart, its windows shattering and debris flying everywhere. The explosion sent Plankton tumbling to the ground, dazed but somehow alive.

Karen’s mechanical frame was damaged, but she too survived. As Plankton stumbled to his feet, he could see the toxic gas—now swirling in the air, glowing with ominous red particles—spreading quickly throughout Bikini Bottom.

The chaos had begun.
