Chapter 8: The Date Part 1

I got in the shower and then texted Jc cause I needed to know how to dress.
"Hey where are we going so I can know what to wear" I sent it and about 2 minutes later he answered.
"Wear something casual" He replied.
I changed into a black crop top, light blue shorts, a floral black kimono, and black sandals. (I put a pic of her outfit)
Then I put on light makeup and curled my hair. I got my small crossover bag and put my wallet and other things I might need. I checked the time; it was 6:30. I went downstairs.
"Omg girl you look fabulous!" Maria said looking up from her phone.
"Thank you thank you" I laughed and posed.
"So when is he coming to pick you up?" She asked.
"7, so about 30 minutes" I answered while going to sit down.
"Where are you guys going?" Well isn't she curious?
"I don't even know, he just said to dress casual. Anyways, what are your plans for today?" I asked her.
"I'm going out to eat with Val"
We were watching tv when I heard someone knock on the door.
"I'll get it!!" Maria practically yelled while jumping up off the couch and running to the door.
I laughed and followed her.

**JC'S POV**

I knocked on her door and then heard Maria yelling that she was gonna open the door.
"Hello" She said casually after opening the door and fixing her hair, out of breath.
"Hey" I laughed.
I saw Katy come behind her and I became speechless.
"Hey" She made a little laugh.
"Hello hi" She looked beautiful.
"Okay bye Maria" Katy said while trying to push Maria away from the door.
She moved hair from her face and said "Okay let's go" She laughed.
I opened the door for her and then got inside the car myself.
"You look beautiful" I finally spoke while driving off.
"Well thank you" She blushed and looked down at her outfit. "You look rather handsome yourself" She smiled.
I was wearing a light gray button up shirt with sleeves to the elbow, khaki pants, and gray Vans. "Thank you" I smiled.
"So where are we going?" She asked excited.
"You'll see when we get there" I smirked. She groaned and agreed.
When we finally got there I opened the door for her and she got out.
"Jc this is beautiful" She said putting her hands to her mouth.
I smiled, proud of myself, and grabbed her hand.
