Chapter 7: It's a date

**JC'S POV**

We finished eating and decided it was time to leave so we walked out to the cars.
"I had a great time today" I told Katy.
"I did too"
"We should hang out again another time" I suggested.
"I'd like that" She smiled.
"Okay, see you then"
"Bye" we hugged and I probably held on a little long.
That was a great afternoon.

**KATY'S POV**

Maria and I headed home.
"That was fun" Maria said while laying down on the couch.
"Yeah. It's only 2:30 and now I'm bored" I sat down on the other couch.
"Bored without Jc" she wiggled her eyebrows.
"Oh shut up" I laughed and threw a pillow at her.
"Anyways, what's today again? I forgot" She sat up.
"It's Sunday"
"Wanna go to the beach with Val?" She asked.
Val is our best friend, we've known each other since we were small.
"Sure, I'll text her" I texted her and we met up at the beach. We had a fun time just goofing around.

**ONE WEEK LATER**

I was chilling on my bed watching YouTube on my laptop when my phone rang.
"Hey" Jc said, a smile evident in his voice.
We had all hung out again one time after we went to the mall.
"Hi" I said sitting up.
"Do you have plans today?" He asked.
"Uh no, I'm just laying on my bed on YouTube. Exciting, I know" I laughed.
He laughed too, "Would you like to um maybe um go out? Just the two of us?" I could tell he was nervous.
"I'd love that" I smiled even though he couldn't see me.
"Okay great! I'll pick you up at 7?" He seemed happy! I checked the time, it was 5:30.
"That's perfect! Just to clarify, this is a date am I correct?" I asked sounding business like.
"This is indeed a date Miss Jenson" He said business like too.
"Well then I should get ready. I shall see you later Mr Caylen"
"I'll be looking forward to it" He laughed
"Okay bye" I laughed too. He said a quick bye and we hung up. I jumped up off my bed and did a little happy dance and quietly screamed so Maria wouldn't hear me but she did.
"What are you doing?" She practically yelled while coming into my room.
"Guess what!" I asked.
"What" she groaned.
"Jc just asked me on a date!"
"Oh my gosh!" She came over and we started jumping up and down.
"Well what are you waiting for? Get ready!" She said while walking out of my room. She wiggles her eyebrows before she left.
"LEAVE!" I threw a pillow at her while laughing. I throw way too many pillows at that girl.
