Ryder smirks. Two can play at this game. He starts to close his eyes and leans in towards me leaving him open and weak. I wrap my arms around his neck. Bringing my lips near his so he can feel my breath on them. I felt his arms wrap around my waist and bring me closer. I rocked my head back and threw it into his. Hearing him curse as he stumbled back. I smirked but held my own forehead as I straightened myself out and looked up at Ryder. He looked down at me in pain.

I laugh lightly as he started to smile. "You're a bit of a masochist." I say to him as I stood up fully and closed my eyes feeling light headed.

"Well I'm not...I'm just surprised...that was the second time you headbutted me...and once again showing me what you could be made of." He says and I shrug.

"Anyway...I'm tired Ryder, go home. Like for real if you don't leave I am so going to kick where the sun don't shine." I say walking past him to my bed. I could feel as if he rolled his eyes and picture a smirk playing lightly on his lips.

"Dani..." I had crawled in to bed when I heard his voice again. I open my eyes and see him by the window. I rose one of my eyebrows in his direction. "I always get what I want and I want you."

"In your dreams Ryder, now leave before I scream and my uncles come here." I hear him chuckle as I close my eyes.

"I'll see you there then, farewell my princess." I was just about to sit up and throw something at him when I hear my window close. I relax into my pillow and let sleep take me gingerly into its warm arms.

When I woke up the next morning which was like a good 6 hours from when I fell asleep Ryder was in my room. I groan. Give a girl a break...

"Dani...another five mile run today." I roll my eyes as I bury myself in my pillow and brig the comforter over my head. "Dani...don't make me kiss you." He threatens.

"Ugh...I'm up." I say sitting up glaring at him, getting up and grabbing running clothes throwing them on in my bathroom. My hair up in a tight ponytail. I didn't bother to wash my face as I knew I'd sweat and shower when I get home.

After that five mile run we were back at my house, it became easier for me to hop onto my bedroom window, well with practice of course.

Ryder had left as soon as I got inside and I went straight to the bathroom to shower. Our runs became easier to me as well. Anyway as I left the steamy bathroom and walked over to my room a towel tightly wrapped around my body I saw Zach on my bed. I frowned. My uncles were in the kitchen bustling about.

"You can't be in here Zach." I say a sigh escaping my lips.

"They let me in, its fine..." He turns to face me since his back was to me in the first place and his eyes widened when he saw my state. "Oh..." I walked over to my dresser grabbing out some clothes and went into my closet since it was walk in I changed in there. I walked out wearing a pair of dark jeans and a gray v neck t-shirt my hair was still wet so I blow dried it and put its messy wavy ness into a bun. Lightly applying makeup I saw Zach behind me.

"Yes? How may I help thee?" I ask a bit icily. I see him frown and leave. I shrug as I grab my phone and throw it into my bag with everything else I needed. Going to the kitchen I look at my converse on my feet and grab something quick to eat as Zach follows me out and to my car, he gets in quietly. Uncle Alex eyed us as we left the premises.

"Why are you still upset with me?" Zach asks breaking the sweet silence.

"I don't know...why oh wait...I do. You lied to me for nine fucking years Zach. What's worse is that my own god damn parents asked you to watch over me?! Hell no." I groan angrily as I hit the wheel and take a deep breath as I drive to actual hell, for teens, high school.

"You will soon learn why I had to but, can we please go back to the way things used to be?" He asks I can feel the hurt and desperation in his voice. As I parked the car and turned it off I closed my eyes keeping my hands on the wheel as I took a deep calming breath to clear my mind and released it through my mouth.

"Sure, but just know that you hurt me like hell." I say and to put the tension between us less edgy and sharp I smile at him. "See you in Chem sourpuss." I laugh lightly as I grab my bag and pretend that everything is normal between us as I walk into our schools doors.
