AJ and Clem are in their room. Clementine wakes up and gets out of bed. AJ is already awake; he brings a cup of coffee to Clementine.
"Made you some coffee. It was in the kitchen. Tenn said that I could have some. I didn't steal it." AJ smiles as he hands it to her
Clementine takes the coffee cup and has a sip.
"I'm surprised you remember how to make it. We haven't had coffee in a long time." Clementine says taken aback
"You put it in hot water." AJ says
"You're right. Thanks." Clementine takes another sip
"Last night, with Marlon? I heard Louis, and... what he called me. Am I a murderer?" AJ asks solemnly
A flashback of Clementine and the rest of the group are in the courtyard starts
"No!" Louis shouts seeing his best friend dead
"Oh, my God!" Omar covers his mouth
"Shit!" Violet says as her and Ruby checks Sawyer over who was knocked out by the impact of the bullet hitting his head
"We could get medicine... from the nurse's office!" Ruby says
"He's dead! The kid blew his brains out!" Mitch said
"She meant for Sawyer dipshit" Violet flips Sawyer over blood pouring out the metallic mesh on his cheek and down his chin
"The bullet didn't go through" Ruby checks his pulse on his neck" he's got a pulse
"You shot him! He's dead. You're a murderer!" Louis says as he stands over his now dead friend "Marlon, he... he was down. He had him beat!" Louis steps back "What the fuck did you teach this kid?!"
"Louis called me a murderer. But... but we're supposed to kill bad stuff. Monsters. Did I do it bad? I thought Marlon was bad. He killed Brody, he... he kept telling lies." AJ looks up at Clementine
"Well, Louis was scared and really hurt." Clementine smiles
"I didn't hurt him." AJ asks confused
"No, I meant he was sad. But he shouldn't have said that to you." Clementine explains
"If I'm a murderer, I... I should know. Right? So... so that I can try not to be, or... I don't know." AJ twiddles his thumbs
"This'll be hard to hear. Louis was right. Sometimes people do bad things, like Marlon did. But when you shot him, he wasn't a threat to us anymore. If you kill someone when they're no longer threatening you, that's murder." Clementine sits opposite AJ holding his hands
Aj looks up at Clementine "Even if they were bad? I mean i hurt Sawyer, he felldown"
"Even then. It was wrong, and Sawyer... thay was an accidenthe was just stood in the wrong place at the wrong time" Clementine frowns understanding AJ's situation
"So, Marlon was an accident?" AJ asks
"Yes, a sad accident but still an accident" Clementine smiles
