*Crack*

A crisp sound echoed... it was the sound of bones breaking.

"This makes eight now..." Iskandar had just snapped the neck of another of the Hundred-Faced Hassan's clones.

"I've killed ten Assassins as well..." Fionn twirled his long spear and, with a quick thrust, pierced through another of the Hassan clones.

Waver and Kayneth, who were within the protective circle, felt a bit uneasy as they saw more shadows emerging from the streetlights ahead.

Waver couldn't hold back and asked Kayneth first, "Professor, just how many Assassins are there?"

"I don't know either. The only thing we can be sure of is that Assassin is one of the generations of Hassan-i-Sabbah."

"But we know very little about this mysterious assassin organization. We only know he's a Hassan, but we don't know which generation or much about the previous Hassans. So, there's no way to deduce his true name or analyze his abilities."

"What we can confirm is that this Hassan possesses some strange ability to split or create clones. The Assassins we've killed so far all dissolved into spirit particles, meaning they were all Servants." Kayneth analyzed the enemy's abilities carefully, and as a mentor, he also took the time to explain to Waver.

"However, a guess is just a guess. Until we verify it, we might be wrong. So, Lancer and Rider, remain on high alert and be cautious of any special tricks from the enemy!"

"Yes, Master." Fionn stayed vigilant.

"No, something's not right. Something feels very off. Lemon-head, your guess is probably right... they are some kind of clones. But still, something feels wrong..."

"Lemon-head?! You idiot, this is a noble and elegant hairstyle full of class! What could a relic like you possibly understand?"

"What? Even something as absurd as Lemon-head can be called elegant now? It seems modern aesthetic standards have truly declined..."

"You!!"

Seeing the two of them bickering in the middle of a battlefield, Waver was speechless. Noticing more Assassins rushing towards them, he quickly shouted, "Fight! Focus on the battle! We're in the middle of a fight here!"

"Of course, this King knows that." Iskandar drew his sword, the Sword of the Kupriotes, and sliced another shadowy figure in half, but the uneasy feeling still lingered.

Iskandar stroked his chin in thought. "Something still feels off. Lancer, you've noticed the strange behavior of these Assassins, haven't you?"

"Yes, King of Conquerors, I have indeed."

"Hmm... Explain in detail, Lancer." Kayneth's expression grew serious.

If it had only been Iskandar saying this, Kayneth might have brushed it off as a mere illusion. But since even Fionn noticed, it meant something was truly wrong with Assassin.

Kayne trusted his Servant's abilities.

"No, Master, this isn't a bad thing. Although it's hard to believe, it feels as if these Assassins are seeking death. They have no intent to fight."

"For an Assassin to charge at Rider and me head-on is already absurd. But what's even stranger is that they haven't used the essential Assassin abilities, like Presence Concealment or assassination techniques." Fionn shared his findings.

Iskandar shared a similar thought. He couldn't sense any fighting spirit in these Assassins' daggers, as if they were marching to their deaths en masse.
