Yn saw Taehyung sitting in the living room with a glass of whiskey.

"Hey" He said in a warm tone.

"Hey" She responded as she sat across him. They sat in a comfortable silence.

Finally she decided to break the silence "So...I thought about what you had told me earlier"

He sat straight placing the glass on the table "And?"

"Well I don't know what to do, how to respond, but..i won't say it was a mistake." she replied.

Her confession was hesitant but it was enough for Taehyung. A small smile appeared on his face "That's all i needed to hear".

In the day that followed.. They both were cautious of their surroundings, yet they didn't miss out on being with each other. Taehyung became more attentive, his actioned were filled with a tenderness that wasn't there before.

He would pour her coffee in the morning, brush a strand of hair from her face randomly when they would talk or linger around her, enjoying her presence.

Yn also seemed to be fine with his gestures. She didn't pull away when he touched her hand or rested his hand on the small of her back. She would giggle when he teased her or called her by her nickname.

They both grew closer, loving each others presence.

One morning, while yn was making breakfast, Taehyung sauntered into the kitchen in his pajamas. His hair was messy, his eyes heavy with sleep. She glanced up, her heart skipped a beat at his relaxed he looked, unlike how tense he usually was.

"Smells good" He murmured, his voice husky as he stepped closer.

"Its pancakes" She replied trying to sound as casual as possible.

He leaned over her shoulder, his breath brushing against her back "And coffee?"

she chuckled "You're addicted"

"Only to your coffee" he teased.

She froze for a moment as she felt his breath near her ear. She was still getting used to his touches and teasings.

"Taehyung" She murmured, glancing at him over her shoulder.

"Hmm?" His eyes locked onto her eyes. The world around them faded and it was just the two of them,

"You're too close" She whispered.

"Do you want me to move?" He asked, his voice softer.

Her lips parted but no words came out. Her heart raced at the closeness.  Finally she shook her head. He smiled before stepping back a bit.

"Didn't think so" He smirked before he turned to pour himself a cup of coffee.

Later that evening, they walked in their garden.  Taehyung took a small step closer, his hand hesitating before gently slipping his fingers through hers. His grip was firm yet gentle, giving her the choice to pull away. But she didn't. Slowly she relaxed, her fingers gripping onto his.

"See? Not that hard" He murmured.

The same day at night, the rain poured heavily. Yn was reading her book when Taehyung walked in with two mugs of hot chocolate.

"Here" he said, handing her a mug before sitting beside her.

"Thanks" She muttered as she took a sip.

Taehyung shifted closer, his arms draping over the back of the couch. She could feel his hand behind her, that could touch her any minute. She sipped quietly, her mind alert about him beside her. He gently twirled her hair before tucking it behind her ear.

"You're always tucking my hair behind my ear" she said glancing at him.

"I like seeing your face. Is that a problem?" He asked with a smile.

Her cheeks flushed and she looked away, but he caught the small smile tugging at her lips.

"Ill take that as a no" He teased, his voice filled with affection.

Late at night Taehyung had convinced Yn to watch a movie with him. They sat on the couch at a respectful distance but as the movie went on, Taehyung's arm found its way across the back of the couch and Yn found herself moving closer to Taehyung. By the time the movie was half done her head was resting on his shoulder and his fingers were on her waist holding her.

She felt comfortable. Too comfortable.

As the movie ended, she realised how close they were. She sat up, her face heating

"I..uh should head to bed" She said as she ran away.

The next morning, Yn sat up curled on the couch with a book while Taehyung sat reading through some documents on his tablets, his glasses perched on his nose, which Yn secretly found very attractive.

Her focus shifted from her book to him, watching as he leaned back, his fingers tapping on the screen. She quickly averted her gaze as his eyes flickered up catching her staring at him.

"Caught you staring" He teased as he sat straight.

"I wasn't staring. I was just...zoned out and thinking" She mumbled her cheeks flushing.

"oh? About what?" He asked setting his tablet aside, leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees.

"Nothing important" She replied returning to read her book. But her heart raced race as she tried to focus on the pages and the words that had started to blur.

He stood up and crossed the room and sat beside her. She felt the couch dip, his presence beside her caused her pulse to quicken. He  reached out brushing a stray hair away from her face, his fingertips resting gently on her cheek as he started into her eyes.

"Are you ever going to get used to this?" He asked his voice low and intimate.

"Used to what?" She whispered as her throat went dry.

"This" He murmured, his thumb lightly tracing her cheeks. "Me being close to you."

she hesitated "Im.. getting there. I just..am getting used to it" She admitted.

He smiled as he held her hand, his thumb caressing her knuckles. She knew she was falling and that there was no turning back. She also knew Taehyung loved her and that's all that mattered.
