HTTYD Oneshots

Blindsided Part 3

 "Okay. Thorston Blind Field Test, numero uno. Who is standing right in front of you?" Tuffnut said as he looked closely at Hiccup, finding the right Thorston Diagnosis. Hiccup rolled his eyes and quietly replied "Tuff, I know it's you."

Tuff's eyes sparkled in happiness as he screamed excitedly, "He got it! He's fine, everybody. Oh, thank Thor. Phew. That was a close one."

Hiccup chuckled quietly as he snapped out of it, he went down to business and said, "Guys, we can't worry about me right now. We need to worry about our dragons. They're still still out there and obviously scared or they would've come back."  Astrid nodded, firmly as she continued, "Guys, he's got a point. We need to round them up before the next storm hits."

Hiccup stood up as Astrid walked over to him and said, "Stormfly and I are gonna find Toothless, Don't Worry." Hiccup scoffed. "And leave me here? I don't think so. I'm going with you." He replied, annoyed. "Oh No.. The Haddock Stubborness.. Ok Astrid try and get Hiccup to listen. Hope this works." Astrid thought as she stood in front Hiccup, blocking the exit.

"Sorry. Not an option." Astrid replied sternly. Hiccup looked away, annoyed and quietly replied, "Listen, I'm more effective blind, then some riders, who shall remain nameless that are fully sighted."

Tuff, whom was able to hear what Hiccup said, whispered to Ruff saying, "Is she looking at us?" Ruff snickered and replied with, " She can't see. Hence, she cannot actually look. So, no." 

Astrid put her arms in the air, frustrated that Hiccup is too stubborn to change his mind.  " Hiccup, there is no way you're flying in your condition. Right? I'm sorry. As Right-Hand leader, I am putting my foot down." Hiccup smirked. 

Hiccup and Astrid were in the sky both riding Stormfly as Astrid was sitting at the front and Hiccup at the back. Astrid leaned closer to Stormfly and whispered, "Remind me never to put my foot down again." Stormfly  chuckled in her dragon language and bopped her head up and down, saying 'yes'.  Astrid smiled but stopped as Hiccup spoke, loudly. "I can still hear you, Astrid. But I agree." 

 Hiccup let go of Astrid's shoulders as he lost support on Stormfly's back  and yelped. He feared that he will be swept away from the wind but it all changed as Miss Astrid in shining armor, grabbed Hiccup's hand as she placed his hands on her hips. She silently blushed, feeling the warm, calloused hands of her crush touching her. She felt safe in Hiccup's hands and she felt lost in those beautiful emerald eyes, but now.. when she looks at his eyes, they seem to lose the glint which pulls Astrid in. It hurted Astrid to see Hiccup facing this. She wants to take all of his pain and worries and throw it all away as if it's garbage.
