When Nya saw that her opponent for tonight's last match was Jay Walker, she couldn't believe her eyes. It has been more than five years since the Merge separated them from each other, and already so much has changed. Of course, they still looked the same, but Nya's youthful confidence withered away, and eyebags hung under Jay's eyes, who appeared more tired and irritated than his usual jolly self. Worst of all, he forgot her. He forgot everyone whom he ever loved and joined their enemies. She never expected them to be on opposing sides. And she never, ever expected to meet him again under these circumstances. No, not like this.
Nya is about to strike Jay with her water powers, but she holds back. As much as she wanted to take advantage and get to the dagger, she couldn't bring herself to hit him. She just couldn't.
