A force I failed to withstand, a relentless strain. It poured down, filling my lungs with despair,
I tried to scream, but no one was there.Caught in the eye, paralyzed with fright,
Struck by thunder, my soul lost its fight. The clouds closed in, like a night in November,
In an instant, I drowned in an endless somber.I looked heavenward, longing for light,
But even the sun refused to shine bright.I never saw it coming, for it came whenever,
Some storms are too fierce to ever weather. And if I'd known, I would've been prepared,
I would've brought my umbrella, indoors I stayed.
