"Welcome to Floreans!"
Sarai offered a smile to Sirius as she entered the shop. She had been roaming Diagon Alley for a dress to wear at the wedding. After Sarai's birthday, Sirius fully invested himself in the workings of the shop. Including being front line to help greet guests.
Sirius sauntered over to Sarai and ruffled her hair, "Did you find a dress?"
Sarai shook her head. "No, nothing really spoke out to me." She admitted, "I don't even know why I'm being picky."
Sirius scoffed, "You're going to a cult wedding. You have to be picky."
Sarai couldn't argue with him there. To be quite frank, she was nervous. This was the first time she would be going over to Blaise's manor. And while Blaise didn't intimidate her, she didn't want to risk looking like the oddball out. Especially in front of a bunch of blood prejudiced wizards and witches. Sirius fondly referred to it as a cult.
Originally Sirius had protested against her going to the wedding in the first place, however Sarai argued that she owed Blaise a favor. Especially since he had been so kind on her birthday to not only show up with flowers, but to bring her a birthday gift as well. Sirius wasn't happy about it, but there was not much he could do except raise his concerns with Remus. Despite being her father, he really didn't have any say so in Sarai's life. A fact that Sarai was quick to point out.
"Tell you what," Sirius said, gently guiding her towards the ice cream bar. "Why don't you settle for some ice cream, and we can go dress shopping after I take care of a few of the new decorations here."
"Sounds good to me."
Apparently, Sarai hadn't been looking in the right places. Just as elegantly as Sirius had navigated through the markets looking for each spice he needed, finding a dress for her was even more satisfying to watch. Right across from the ice cream parlour was a tall brown building, with bold black letters revealing 'Twilfitt and Tattings.' The entry way was comprised of two double sided doors with mosaic glass, picturing a young witch in a purple gown.
Sirius had a hand placed gently on Sarai's back. "Stick close to me alright?" He said as the pair crossed the street and made their way over to the shop.
When the pair entered the shop, Sarai could hear the faint sound of violins playing in the background. She looked around in awe at the high ceiling of the building where there was a beautiful chandelier dancing above her. The walls were painted black with a gold trim, and there were tons of mannequins of all sorts of witches and wizards robes around her. The scent of lavender wafted through the air around her.
"Woah," she said breathlessly. "How come I've never heard of this place?" She whispered to Sirius.
"It's a higher end shop," Sirius muttered quietly to her as they made their way towards the middle of the shop, "Mainly the elite shop here."
Sarai nodded her head in acknowledgment, as the pair perused through the aisles looking at the different dress robes displayed on mannequins.
"May I help you?" A males voice asked from across the way.
Sarai turned to see a young man who looked to be in his early twenties peering over at this from over his spectacles. He had big blue eyes that reflected the gold light of the chandelier, and was wearing a royal blue tux.
"Ah, yes." Sirius answered. "We're looking for a dress to match this mask." He made his way over to the man.
Sarai followed suit closely behind as Sirius carefully handed over the mask. The man took the mask carefully into his hands and examined it closely. His eyes quickly flitted up to Sirius, and nearly let out a squeak as he realized who it was.
