Sarai McKinnon grew up in her godfather Remus's household. Not knowing her parents as her mother died at an early age and her father abandoning her. Remus was all she had to turn to. As a third year at hogwarts things are about to change as her "Dad...

The past thirty minutes were the most relaxed Sarai had felt in her life. She had no clue as to what all Blaise had placed in the bathtub but she could have fallen asleep in the water. The scent of essential oils had wafted through the air blissfully, and Sarai could have sworn her hair felt softer than it normally did.
Her relaxation was short lived though, as a towel appeared out of nowhere on the counter. A subtle cue to let her know her bath time was over. She sighed disheartened over her short lived peace but dried herself off nonetheless. She had to remind herself that Blaise also needed to get ready as well.
She carefully pulled out her makeup from her clutch. Feeling very grateful that Katie Alicia and Angelina were kind enough to show her the ropes of cosmetics, she took a seat in front of the mirror and began to get to work.
"Make sure your make up is on before your outfit. Otherwise you risk ruining your clothes." Angelina's voice warned her.
Sarai smiled softly at the memory,
"You don't want to overdo it with eyeshadow." Katie said, "especially around our age. We risk looking like clowns otherwise."
Sarai snorted as she remembered the sight of Professor Snape dressed up in Mrs. Longbottom's clothes and makeup. He looked very clownish indeed.
"Always go for a soft lip, as well." Alicia's voice entered her head. "You want men to be attracted to your lips. It makes them more kissable."
Heeding her friend's advice, Sarai went for a mostly natural look, but made sure her eyes had a sharp liner to them. Once she was fully satisfied with the look, she moved to place her dress on.
Three sharp knocks rang from the door.
"Hurry up, McLupin." Blaise called from outside the door. "I need to get ready as well you know."
"I'm almost done!"
"Just get decent so we can share the bathroom!"
Sarai rolled her eyes, but quickly placed her dress on, taking a moment to admire herself once more. She strode over to the bathroom door and opened it. The door revealed a bored looking Blaise, who was sitting on his bed with Merlin cuddled on his chest.
He glanced over and his eyes widened as he took in her appearance.
"What?" Sarai asked defensively.
Blaise quickly recovered from the look of surprise on his face as he raised an eyebrow. "Is that how your hair is going to look?"
Sarai crossed her arms around her chest defensively. "No." She huffed, "I haven't gotten to my hair yet. You were being impatient."
Blaise snorted before carefully moving Merlin off of his chest and getting up from the bed. The kitten cried in protest at his owner abandoning him, but Blaise had hardly noticed.
