Chapter 10

David was in the process of closing the shop when Andie arrived unexpectedly. Bess observed their interaction, during which they shared a kiss in her presence. The following morning, Scott awoke too a sharp pain in his knee while preparing breakfast for Scala.

Mike: "Hello."

Scott: "Hello."

Mike: "Do you require assistance with that?"

Scott: "No, I am fine." (grimaces in discomfort)

Mike: "Scott, are you okay?"

Scott: "Yes, I am experiencing a minor sharp pain in my knee."

Mike: "Understood. Where are you and Scala headed today?"

Scott: "Most likely to the gym."

Mike: "Alright, please keep an eye on your sister."

Scott: "Sure."

Following this exchange, Scott's father departed.

Scott: "Scala, breakfast is ready."

Scala descended the stairs.

Scott: "Here you go, Scala. Enjoy your meal."

After they finished eating,

Scott: "Please get ready, Scala."

Scala nodded in acknowledgment.

Scala returned after preparing herself.

Scott: "Are you ready?"

Scala nodded again.

Scott: "Let us go."

Scott and Scala left for the gym.

At the gym, Scott was engaged in weightlifting while Scala occupied herself with her homework until an individual inadvertently pushed him. Scala abandoned her studies too attend to Scott.

Scala: "Scott, are you alright?"

Scott: "Yes."

At that moment, Scott's coach arrived and instructed both Scott and Scala too return home. Upon their arrival, Mike offered Scott some food, but Scott was preoccupied with an argument with his father.

Scott: "Scala,"

Scala approached Scott.

Scott: "Please go too your room; I need to speak with Dad, alright?"

Scala nodded and proceeded to her room. Subsequently, Scott went upstairs too check on Scala and heard her crying.

Scott: "Scala! Come here."

Scala made her way to Scott's room.

Scott: "Come here, Scala."

Scala immediately ran into Scott's embrace.
