Within the Hoelscher Empire, as the Gaints continue their rampage and destruction, the soldiers would continue to evacuate and defend the civilians. Currently within one of the hospitals, two soldiers were in the process of evacuating the building, however some were unfortunately needed to be left behind.
Soldier: We don't have the space to carry every patient you have!
Doctor: We have over ten patients who suffer from mobility issues...!
Soldier: Now isn't the time to worry about those people who might die any second, anyway! Those Giants are heading this way as we speak!
The young soldier, his face caked with sweat, got angry and shouted out. The residents of the surrounding area had been evacuated already. This was the sole place where the scent of humans could be found, so it was only a matter of time before a Giant would show up here to continue their rampage and destruction.
The doctor looked down at the floor for a moment or two, before raising his head up.
Doctor: I can't abandon my patients. My wife and I have promised that we'll stay by the sides of our patients until the end.
The doctor's voice carried his strong determination. The two soldiers glared angrily at the doctor, but in the end, had no choice but sigh in frustration, before using their magic to conjure a [Flame Bullet], pointing it at them.
Doctor: W-What are you doing?
The couple was taken greatly by surprise and held onto each other. The soldier yelled out loudly, veins popping up on his throat.
Solder: If you stay here, Giants will rip you to death! Rather than dying such gruesome deaths, it's better to just die by my hand!
At that moment, the soldier would hear the sound of other Soldiers beginning to engage the approaching a Giant. Unfortunately, their spells couldn't harm these monsters. The Giant easily brushed off the hail of fire attacks and arrived before the soldiers in the blink of an eye. Soon tears formed in the eyes of the soldier, feeling his life about to come to an end.
Soldier: Oh, dear God, please...
The Giant monster raised its head to swallow a soldier it was gnawing on, before leaping towards the soldier. However, it was right at that moment, a massive Naga slammed into the side of the Giant monster without warning....
Soldier: Huh...?
The Giant was flung away and violently rolled on the ground, before bouncing back up again with a spring like movement that didn't really suit its large frame.
The Giant didn't immediately counterattack, instead opting to bare its fangs as it remained prone on the ground. Meanwhile, the giant Naga responsible for flinging it away stood before the growling monster. It was none other than Jima.
Jima reached his right hand out next to him.
When he did, a black spear slowly rose up from the shadow on the ground. He grasped the spear and aimed the weapon at his front. One could sense his unbreakable will to not let anything pass by him.
Solder: Uh...? Uh....?
???: These things are faster and more agile than I thought for their size.
Looking to his side, the solder would see the person speaking was Nhazul, who had his purple aura swirling around him, as he removed his jacket and tossed it aside. Nhazul would then walk over to Jima and the Giant, who were in the middle of a battle. In an instant, Nhazul would rocket up from the ground and shot right towards the Giant's face in an instant.
