No one's POV

Nhazul felt something cold and hard digging into his back. The unpleasant sensation jolted him hazy consciousness awake.

Nhazul: Where....?

Nhazul shook his head, got to his feet, and examined his surroundings. A cursory glance told him he was inside the trunk of a tree,
but one that was about twice as large as the one they'd entered after the Treant battle. There was one other significant difference between this trunk and the other. This trunk wasn't empty.

Each one was large enough to fit a person inside it. They're like coffins. From the looks of it, Nhazul had awoken from within one of the aforementioned coffins. Aside from that, the room was empty. There didn't appear to be any exits either.

Nhazul: Just what is this?

Nhazul examined the coffins to either side
of him, then dashed over to the one on the right.

Nhazul: This... looks like amber.

Lying inside the coffin was Yue. Not Yue in
her transfigured goblin state, but the old, original Yue. She was suspended in some kind of strange, yellowish-brown semi solid.

As Nhazul had said, the strange substance resembled the kind of amber people often found preserved fossils in.

There were a total of ten amber coffins in the tree trunk.

Nhazul checked each one in turn, and as he'd expected he found the rest of his party encased inside them.

Nhazul: I guess we were all teleported directly into them after the fight with the Treant. But what exactly is this?

Not a moment later, Nhazul would see Hajime's amber begin to glow. Nhazul took his hand off it and put some distance between himself and the coffin. Before long the light faded and the amber started melting away.

The liquified amber vanished into the sides of the coffin as if being absorbed by them. In less than five minutes, it was all gone.

Hajime: Ugh...

Nhazul: Nice to see you, sleeping beauty.

Rubbing his head, Hajime would see Nhazul standing in front of him, before sitting up slowly.

Hajime: You're up already, huh? Guess it didn't take you long to clear your trial.

Nhazul: Trial? What do you mean?

Hajime: You know, breaking out of the false world the labyrinth created? Wait, don't tell me...

Nhazul: I have no idea what you're talking about. I woke up in a coffin and found you all like this.

Hajime: The hell? So you just automatically passed? I bet it's more of your System bs.

Nhazul: Who knows? I haven't received any notifications, so your guess is as good as mine.
