𝙏𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙓 - Max Mayfield

"Jordan!"

"Will!"

Max and Maya walked along with Dustin who they'd run into earlier, apparently trying to find Will.

"How could they both just disappear?" Maya asked.

Suddenly, the group ran into Mrs Byers.

"Dustin, what's going on?" She asked. "Where's Will?"

Lucas suddenly ran up to them. "They're in the field"

"They?" Mrs Wheeler asked as they all ran outside.

The group all went outside the school building and found Sam, Mike and Corey trying to reach Will who was standing totally still with his eyes rolled backwards and Jordan who was on the ground, several feet away. 

"What happened to them?" Max asked.

"I found them like this!" Mike replied. "I think they're both having episodes!"

"Jordan too?!" Mrs Byers looked at the younger Buckley who lay on the floor motionless. "Okay, I'll try to wake Will,you try to wake Jordan"

They all listened to the adult and split up,with Sam, Maya and Max going over to Aiden.

"Jordan come on dude,snap out of it" Maya said as she shook her friend.

"Jay, wake up please..."  Sam's voice was barely audible as she kept looking between Jordan and Will, hoping for them both to snap out of whatever this was. She honestly could take a lot of things but seeing her two closest friends like this just shattered her heart.

"Jordan,I know you're in there somewhere" Max said. "It's me, Max. We're all right here! Wake up, please!"

Jordan hoped to God that he was dreaming.

He decided to slow down to catch his breath and before he knew it, he was pushed forward.. or thrown forward from how it felt. Either way he'd fallen face down. Once he flipped to his back and looked around, everything was different. It looked like it was night.. but there was no moon in the sky, no stars either.

'No..'

What was in the sky however, was something horrifying; a giant spider shaped cloud of smoke. But the thing was that.. it was moving.

Jordan would've scrambled to his feet and ran again if it wasn't already towering over him. He was too petrified  to move and though it had no eyes, Jordan could feel the monstrosity staring at him.

Before he could even think about moving, one of the creature's legs wrapped around his midsection and pulled him upwards.

As he felt himself lift off the ground, Jordan could barely let out anything more than a whimper. Once he was high enough, he was brought face to face with the monster   in so much shock .. he could feel the cold all over, he could feel the killing intent, the hostility.. he felt it piercing into him. Jordan found it so hard to look away, as if the creature was silently daring him to do so.

This felt all too much to be a dream and Jordan only realized how scared he was when tears started to cloud his vision.

His breathing started to hitch as two more of the creature's legs hovered over his face, inching closer and closer...

Jordan immediately sat up and took a huge breath of air, gasping for breath.

"Jordan!" The boy snapped his head towards the voice and was met with Sam's face. He immediately felt a huge sense of relief, although he was still breathing heavily.
