Nandini is waiting for her cab when Manik sees her. Manik tries to pat Nandini on the shoulder but then remembers her words and stops himself.
Manik: Nandini. Nandini turns back and looks at him. Manik: It's really late! I’ll drop you home. Nandini: No, thanks.
There is a silence between the two of them.
Manik finally breaks the silence and says, "Have I done anything wrong?" Nandini: Please don’t provoke me. Manik: At least tell me what I’ve done! We can solve it. I’ll do whatever it takes, but I don’t want to lose you, please. Manik holds her hand. Nandini: Leave my hand. Manik: It’s killing me from the inside! Please don’t do this to me. You’re the one who came into my life and pulled me out of my dark world... the one who changed me! You know, before meeting you, I was just a bad boy to everyone who used to bully people. But after you came into my life, I started understanding people. I started caring about them... especially you. I don’t know what you did, but you are my life! I can’t let you go.
Nandini’s eyes are filled with tears. She is looking at Manik emotionally.

Manik leaves her hand, cups her face, and puts his head against hers. Nandini holds his hand. Manik: Please don’t leave me. Ever. Just say something. I love you.
A tear falls from Manik’s eye onto Nandini’s hand, and she snaps back to her senses. Nandini pushes Manik away from herself.
Nandini: Don’t you get it, Manik? I told you to stay away from me, so just stay away! Manik: Nandini—
A cab arrives. Nandini: It’s getting late. I need to get home. Manik: But come with me, I’ll drop you! You can’t trust these cab drivers... it’s not safe. Nandini (laughing): You can’t trust anyone in this world, Manik. Even your own people betray you. It’s not safe anywhere! But yeah, it’s better to be betrayed by strangers than your own people. :) Nandini opens the car door and gets in. Manik tries to stop her by placing his hand on the car window. Manik: Nandini, please don’t go. I want to tell you something, please! Manik steps in front of the car and stops it. Manik opens the car door and pulls her out. Manik: Please, just listen to me once. Nandini: Okay, but make it fast. Manik: Not here.
Manik holds her hand and takes her inside the college. Manik gets down on one knee.
