Cabir comes towards Manik and says, "Are you okay?" Manik nods his head while looking at Nandini. Cabir: What has happened to her? Why is she behaving like this? Manik: Relax, Cabir! She was practicing for a long time, I guess, and now she has to perform too. This is just her nervousness—nothing serious. Once the performance is over, she'll come to me, and I know that. Cabir: What do you think she will do when she gets close to you? Manik: She will... (Manik realizes what Cabir meant.) Manik: Shut up! Her performance is starting now! I have to cheer her up. Cabir: Yeah! Manik: I hope nothing goes wrong. Cabir: Don't worry; you are there for her, so nothing can go wrong. Manik smiles at Cabir. Professor Karan: Nandini, are you ready? Nandini: Yes, sir. Professor Karan: Okay, then start performing.
Nandini takes her harmonium and starts singing
