"Keefe, where are you taking me?" Sophie Foster was currently being led by the hand by Keefe Sencen, eyes closed going  somewhere. That was all she knew. She was being led by Keefe somewhere
" Patience, Foster. Greatness takes time. Here we are. Open your eyes." Keefe gently said, turning her past something one last time. Sophie peeled her eyes open and gasped. Before her, a soft blue blanket was laid out on the emerald-green grass, a wicker basket in the center. A cool breeze gently rustled the teal bow tied around the handles. Sophie sighed contentedly, sinking into the warm sunlight soaking the romantic setup. It was SO romantic, and a very "Fitz" like thing for Keefe to do. But Sophie set any thoughts about the teal-eyed boy aside. Today was for her and Keefe.
"Do you like it?" Keefe asked nervously, and Sophie realized she'd forgotten to speak.
"Keefe!" Sophie whirled around to face him, a wide grin on her face. " I LOVE it!"
"Oh, but Foster, don't fall for it yet. Check out the view." He said, pulling aside a clump of leaves. Sophie peeked through the opening, her heart jumping when she saw what he meant. The picnic was set on a cliff overlooking a small, cutesy town. She saw the humans strolling around doing their daily activities, completely not knowing the elves overhead.
"Are we in the Forbidden Cities?" She asked, already knowing the answer. From the look of the landscape, she guessed they were around Colorado.
"Sure are, Lovely Lady F." Keefe confirmed, smiling down at her. "Welcome to your first illegal picnic."
Sophie smiled back gratefully. "Thank you, Keefe."
"Anything for you, Foster." His voice was soft, but she could see so much more in his eyes.
They sat, sharing funny and heartfelt memories, and Sophie finally learned the story of the Great Gulon Incident  from the master himself. She stared at him, open-mouthed while Keefe grinned back.
"Wait-- hold up. You're telling me you stuffed over five-hundred gulons in Dame Alina's office? How's that even possible?"
"Simple. Bribery and ingenuity. Also, gulons really like peanut butter. Who knew, right?"
Sophie groaned. "Please tell me you didn't.--"
"Oh, I absolutely did. Peanut butter trails everywhere. The smell didn't leave for months. It was legendary."
"I almost feel bad for the victims," Sophie admitted.

"I don't!" Keefe said cheerfully. "Believe me, Foster, they had it coming."
"Maybe," Sophie conceded, lifting the lid of the basket and peering inside. There lay-
"Lushberries, Keefe? As in lushberry juice?"
Keefe nodded, plucking a lushberry from the bag.
"I thought they'd be fun for you to try." He said, shaking up the bag of the round, orange fruit.
Sophie did as he did, examining the round
"These are amazing!" She said, swallowing the tart, sweet berries that seemed to pop in her mouth.
"Right?" He replied, and Sophie couldn't help but laugh at the orange juice dribbling down his chin
"You're a mess," she said, handing him a napkin, still smiling. Keefe accepted it, dabbing at the mess.

They continued the date, each having the most fun they'd had in a while. Sophie laughed at his jokes, and Keefe grinned back at her. It was a perfect date, in Sophie's opinion. A perfect way to take a break from the Neverseen. A perfect day.

(Sorry if that was cringy 😬. Sokeefe is hard to write. Welp, buh-bye!) --TianaSokeefe42
