Love Begins at Jeju

21-The last meal together

a reward challenge begins where  they had to find the keys for their meal of the day

Red key: samyupsal w/ kimchi fried rice 1liter of energy drink and an apple and 2 bananas

Green key: a box of cookies, 1L of banana milk and gummies

Blue key: a box of cup cakes, 1L of mineral water and 3oranges

Yellow key : a cup of rice with 1 whole fried chicken, 1liter of orang juice and a bar of chocolate

Yoongi found red
Jin found yellow
Jungkook found blue
Hoseok found green

As their stomachs grumbled, and their faces reflected a mixture of hunger and excitement. The challenge had been tough, but now, they had the opportunity to indulge in something special.

The host stood with a smirk, clearly enjoying the suspense.
“You can choose to keep those meals for yourself or—” they paused dramatically, eyes glinting as they observed the players' reactions. Everyone froze, waiting for the next part of the challenge.

“Offer an exchange for one of your items,” the host continued, their voice laced with anticipation. “You can only offer once, but you can accept the offer as much as you like. Offering starts now!”

The players immediately looked at their prizes, calculating which items were most valuable. Yoongi, holding the red key, quickly glanced over at the others.

Yoongi to himself
I got the red key… samyupsal with kimchi fried rice? Not bad, but it’s the energy drink and fruits that really interest me. Maybe I could swap the fruits for something else...

Without hesitation, Yoongi turned to Jungkook, who was holding the blue key and the box of cupcakes. He had noticed the orange, and the desire to add some fruit to his meal tugged at him.

Yoongi (smiling): “Jungkook, how about we trade? I’ll give you my apple and bananas for your oranges. I prepare oranges than these.”

Jungkook looked down at the oranges, his fingers lightly tapping the box of cupcakes as he considered the offer. He paused, glancing over at Yoongi, who was eyeing the oranges expectantly.

Jungkook (grinning): “Hmm... sounds good to me. Okay.. I'll accept Yoongi hyung's offer, my oranges for his apple and bananas”
He tossed Yoongi a small smirk before handing over the oranges and grabbing the apple and bananas

The exchange was swift, and Yoongi couldn’t help but smile as he held the orange in his hand.

Meanwhile, Hoseok, clutching the green key and a box of cookies, eyed the items in front of Jin. Jin had the yellow key, and Hoseok couldn’t resist his desire for something refreshing—he had seen the bottle of orange juice. He approached Jin, who was examining his meal with a thoughtful expression.

Hoseok leaning in, voice soft but friendly “Jin, hyung, I’ll offer you my banana milk for your orange juice. What do you think?”

Jin raised an eyebrow, the offer catching his attention. The banana milk was tempting, but so was the orange juice. After a brief internal debate, he heard Jungkook muttering..
"I love banana milk, Hyung"
his gaze shifted to Jungkook, who was looking at him eagerly. Jin pausing, then smiling...
“Well, I was planning on having the orange juice with my fried chicken... but...” He looked at Jungkook and saw his puppy-like expression, his eyes wide and hopeful.
"I'll accept Hoseok's offer, his banana milk for my orange juice—but how about this,” Jin continued as he looked at the younger with pleading puppy eyes
“I’ll trade the banana milk for your mineral water, Jungkook.”

Jungkook blinked, confused at first. Jungkook's eyes narrowing “Wait, hyung, you’re giving me the banana milk.. for my mineral water?”

Jin laughing
“Yeah, it’s a good deal, isn’t it? You want the banana milk, right?”

Jungkook’s face lit up immediately.  “Oh, hyung, yes, please! I’ll trade. Deal!” he said grinning

Hoseok watched the exchange unfold, his eyes lighting up with excitement as Jin handed over the orange juice to him, who happily passed the banana milk to the older.
While Jungkook blushing because Jin eyeing him dearly with a smile on his face as he hand him the banana milk for the bottled water.
As the players made their swaps, they couldn’t help but feel a competitive energy in the air. The choices had been made, and everyone was more than ready to settle down with their meals. Yoongi, holding the orange and his new meal components, turned to the others.

Yoongi said playfully
“I’m not sure if we’ve all made the best deals, but I’ve got my fruits and energy drink. I’m good.”

Jin, chuckling as he unwrapped his whole chicken “Well, I can’t say no to a whole fried chicken with rice, but I guess we’ll see who ends up with the better meal in the end.”

Hoseok laughing “I’m just happy with my cookies and orange juice!. It’s a sweet deal, literally!”

Jungkook, holding his now-refreshed banana milk made possible by his loving Man leaned back with a grin, clearly content with the deal.

Jungkook to Jin, playfully “Thanks, hyung! I’ll make sure to enjoy my cupcakes and banana milk, but if you want a trade later, I’m open to it!”
The two secretly exchange a knowing smiles..
Jin shaking his head leaning in to Jungkook to whisper "I believe your still sore"
Jungkook blushed as he eyed his secret lover
The host observed all of them, amused by their interactions.

“Looks like the deals are done,” the host said, a satisfied smile curling at the corners of their mouth. “Now, enjoy your meals, but remember—only one meal per player. You can't swap anymore after this. The table is now yours. I'll be meeting you tonight for the final eliminations.. for now I'm leaving you with your rewards!”

The players, despite their light-hearted banter, knew the stakes were high. They dug into their meals, savoring the flavors, but in the back of their minds, they couldn’t help but wonder about what happens to the challenges..
Who will leave ?
And who will end up winning the competition on Survivor:Jeju
