It took quite a while to get moving the next day.

Marilyn and Hermione were ready long before the others, and had their trunks and pets gathered in the main pub early. Wendy Potter, however, Harry's twin sister, thought that now would be the perfect time for them to have their first actual argument. Marilyn always thought Harry and Wendy were just those kind of siblings who never argued, and she was right, until now. Harry's glasses were broken because she threw a pillow at him, and they were arguing about anything and everything, so Marilyn wasn't sure what set it off. Wendy's yelling could be heard from anywhere in the inn, but Harry's sharp words back sounded just as angry, though nowhere near as loud.

To make things worse, Ron and Percy had been sharing a room in the inn, and seemed to have also pushed each other off the edge, Percy screaming that Ron had spilt tea on a photo Percy had of his girlfriend, and Fred and George's congratulations to Ron for annoying Percy were so loud that Marilyn sat with her elbows on her knees and her hands over her ears, all six just being much too loud.

Finally, they made it to ten Am, when the Ministry cars came to pick them up. Harry went in one old fashioned green car, while Wendy climbed into the other, Ron climbing in after her, due to Percy sitting beside Harry, Marilyn and Hermione in the other car.

"Are you two arguing about something specific?" Hermione asked, as she put her hand on the wickerwork basket that held a hissing Crookshanks, who was trying to get out. "You and Wendy?"

"She's mad because I don't like her friends." Harry kept his arms crossed. "But, you guys are nice to Wendy, right? You're my friends and you're nice to her? Well, her friends are horrible to me. It's not that I care, it just I care that she doesn't." Harry most definitely cared.

"Sorry, Harry." Marilyn wasn't sure what else to say - it sounded like it had blown way out of proportion, with how the twins were acting. But Ernie was resting his head on Harry's lap, and seemed to be helping.

But when they arrived at King's Cross Station with twenty minutes to spare, Harry seemed to have calmed down. The Ministry workers got them trolleys and helped them with their trunks, before tipping their hats to Mrs Weasley and getting back in their cars. Harry stuck closer to Marilyn, as Wendy was talking angrily with Ron, but then had to go through the wall between platforms nine and ten with Mr Weasley, meaning Marilyn went through with Hermione.

Once going through the wall and ending up on the bustling platform of Nine and Three-Quarters, Marilyn waited with the others for everyone to come through, Wendy coming through with Mrs Weasley.

Together, they found a compartment, loading their trunks in, and Fred and George saying they wanted Ernie the dog to stay with them on the train, for some reason, and tying his lead to their own trunks as they went out to bid Mr and Mrs Weasley goodbye.

Mrs Weasley kissed each of her children's foreheads and gave Harry and Wendy a joined hug, too, which they both tried to pull away from each other in, meaning they were both closer to Mrs Weasley.

Finally, they climbed up into the train, sticking their heads out of the window to wave goodbye, and Marilyn caught sight of her parents nearby, waving goodbye to Sandy, who was inside the train, not waving.

"Ron! Ron!" Mrs Weasley suddenly scooped something up off the ground, running to Ron as the train began to move, handing his rat, Scabbers to him. "Don't loose him!"

But soon, the train rounded a corner, and they disappeared from sight.

"We'll look after him, Lynn." Fred scooped Ernie up, who lay his head on his shoulder, seeming pleased to finally be picked up, since Marilyn struggled these days. "He'll be brought up to the castle like normal."
