Chapter 2: Agree to Change.
We were now walking down the street headed towards god knows where.
"Where are we going?"
"To my house duh." Brianna said looking at me like I was dumber than I felt. Once she turned forward, I made a face at her back, before pulling my binders closer to my chest. She walked with so much confidence, her hands to her sides and the way she swished her hips made her high self-esteem look effortless.
"So Juliet, how long have you been in love with Sir Romeo?" She smirked turning to me. I rolled my eyes before letting out an unladylike scoff.
"The names Elle and I'm no Juliet. And I'm not in love with him." I said lying through my teeth.
"Which explains why you stare at the back of his head as if it was a banana split sundae...mmm that actually sounds pretty good, right now." Brianna said losing her train of thought.
"I definitely do not."
Yes, I do...but I'm definitely not going to admit that aloud. And a banana split does sound quite tempting...
"Rule #2: Be bluntly honest. Lying makes you seem fake and less than more bad." Brianna said waggling her fingers as we made our way into the driveway of a nice blue house with white shutters looking pretty modern. Brianna stuck a key inside the keyhole opening the door.
"Welcome to Brianna's Bad Girl Boot Camp. Formally known as my house. Don't make yourself at home." She said giving me a smile before closing the door shut and locking the door. "However you can follow me to my bedroom." She added making her way down a long hall and turning the corner. We headed up some stairs and entered the first door which had a 'DO NOT ENTER' sign on it as well as a bit of caution tape.
A bit dramatic, don't you think?
We came into the room and her room was filled with various rock band posters covering the walls. She had hardwood floors and a huge black and white zebra striped plush carpet. Almost all of the furniture was black. If it weren't for the two huge windows in the room, this room would probably be the night in daytime.
"Okay, before we start this boot camp, I need to make sure you are willing to follow all guidelines and rules. Because from now on Elle Capulet, that shell you hide yourself in will be broken. Shattered as a matter of fact. Unfixable. Once you agree to this your life will be changed forever. Are you ready for that?" Brianna said crossing her arms looking far from kidding.
I visibly swallowed the lump that settled within my throat.
Do I want to change? Do I really want this? I mean what could possibly be the worst thing that could go wrong? I get to speak my mind. This could bring me some of the best things in life...like Reece Montague. A newfound confidence...new friends...
Before I could stop myself, I found myself nodding..."Yes."
