Chapter 5- It is what it looks like
Okay, so maybe I wasn't the most graceful person in the world and I usually accepted it as a fact of life but now I was cursing every god I knew under my breath for bestowing on me this horrible gift.
Reece loped over; eyebrows raised in amusement, a smirk settling over his features. I stopped muttering realizing that I probably looked insane. He stopped a foot or so away and held out my phone which was still blasting one direction's Heart Attack.
I snatched my cell from his hand and checked it over. There was a small crack in the corner of the screen but I could live with that. I let out a sigh of relief.
"YOU'RE ALL I EVER WANTED THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE THE ONE AN-"
I quickly hit call, glance at Reece who still had that annoying smirk.
"What?!" I hissed into the phone.
"WHOA! Chill out bro, being bitchy is my job," A familiar voice scolded.
I rolled my eyes, "What could you possibly want, Bri?"
"Oh, I didn't know we were nickname basis yet? So does that mean I can call you, Jules- for Juliet?"
I face-palmed, completely forgetting that Reece was still standing next to me, and stomped my foot in frustration.
"Brianna..." I said in a warning tone.
"No seriously...it's Jules from now on. Or should I stick with Juliet?"
"I'm hanging up."
"Bet you a dollar you wont, sweetheart."
I let out an unlady-like snort, "Really, and why not?"
"Cause with out me, Reece wouldn't sill be standing next to you at this very moment even though you look like a complete idiot with that scowl on that pretty little face of yours."
I pulled my phone away from my ear to stare at it in disbelief before quickly placing it back, "Are you stalking me?"
"Nope, just observing the awkwardness from a safe distance- TA TA my Juliet!"
The line went dead.
It was at that time that I remembered the hunk of hotness beside me. He was still staring at me.
I scrunched my face up in confusion, "What?"
Reece burst out laughing. Wow, and I thought his voice was nice. This was like the bells that sound when you get into heaven. A sound sculpted by god, just like his body. I almost melted into the pavement.
After Reece recovered from his laughing fit the smirk settled back on his face. He reached out and tapped my nose with his pointer finger.
"You're cute when you're mad."
I tried to hide the inner fan girl that threatened to burst out when he called me cute. I glared at him.
"So..." Reece started, shoving his hands in the pockets of his skin tight jeans, "Haven't seen you around before. What you're name babe?"
I am ashamed to admit that I thought about giving him a false name and running away as fast as possible but I knew that Brianna would kick my ass if I did.
I ran a hand through my styled hair before hooking my fingers in my pockets, "Elle Capulet?" It came out sounding more like a question.
He chuckled, "You don't sound so sure..."
That stupid smirk was back....but it was just so damn attractive.
"Oh and who might you be?" I snapped, crossing my arms defiantly across my chest. I knew who he was but didn't feel like giving him the satisfaction.
