Robb Stark
In the next couple of weeks that followed, Winterfell and the lives of most within its walls went back to normal. After the duel with Viserys his father spoke to him and scolded him, but he assured him that Rhaegar also spoke to Viserys. Robb did not apologize, but there was an unspoken agreement that the men would not interact unless necessary. Viserys left him as well as Daenerys alone so the rest of their stay was rather peaceful. Viserys didn't hide his displeasure well though when they went on a hunt and brought Daenerys along for her skills with a bow. Despite that he and Daenerys continued to get to know each other as a married couple and explore one another's bodies. They rode together, took walks with Greywind, and simply talked. Daenerys would tell him of her day, the latest gossip of Winterfell that she'd heard while embroidering with the other ladies. He would jokingly tell her she should not entertain such gossip, but she merely told him as the future lady of Winterfell it was good to listen and know everything that went on in the north.
When they weren't together he would be learning how to be lord of winterfell from his father, or amongst the Northern bannerman who had attended the wedding in attempts to get to know them. For the most part they saw him as a boy, which he was, but he had won them over quickly. Mainly after he bested Viserys in the courtyard or when they saw his direwolf who was no longer the small pup he'd found in the woods a couple moons ago. Now however, many of the bannerman who had come for the wedding had left and the day was finally upon them when the king and his party would leave. He would take the singers, murmurs and white cloaked knights with him. There'd be no more princes and princesses save for his lovely wife. Even Jon would be leaving to go south and meet his new bride.
When the Starks had heard about how Rhaegar had legitimized Jon they were happy for him. He would now be recognized as a true born son of the king, but that meant he would have different duties to fulfill and that meant taking a bride to strengthen alliances. That meant he had to leave though so as happy as the news made them it also saddened them especially Arya who considered Jon her best friend. For all his broodiness Jon's presence was still always a welcomed one up North.
The Stark children saw him as another sibling and not just as a cousin. Saying goodbye to him was very hard, but he wished him the best. He hoped that Jon could find happiness with his new life and future wife as well. Robb knew that Jon still harbored some feelings towards his half sister, princess Rhaenys, but that was a dangerous path. For Jon's sake Robb hoped he comes to love Margaery or atleast care about her enough to not insult her in anyway. Jon is honorable, but he is still a boy and now he would be closer to his sister. When she first arrived the two hardly spoke, but one day it was as if they had made up. He saw them talking more and more each day and then even laughing, that worried him a bit, but Daenerys assured him quickly when she saw the looks he gave. She said they simply made up and their newfound relationship would be strictly one of a brother and sister. Apparently she had put two and two together as well and confronted the princess about it. He was not surprised, Daenerys was always very observant and seemed to read people rather well.
As he stood with Dany as they waved to the departing party.
"Are you sad to see your family leave?" Bran asked Dany after a moment."I'll miss Rhae and Jon, but Robb is my family now and Winterfell is my home. Besides I'll see them again." Dany said with a small smile.
___________Robb and Dany had developed a bit of a routine in Winterfell. It had been over a moon since they wed and still he felt like he could not get enough of Dany. Her presence brought on a sense of comfort like no other and he felt like he could tell her anything. The love was genuine and they both trusted one another in all aspects. His father had given him more responsibilities as he prepared him for his role as future warden of the North. He told him that he had no doubt he'd be capable and having a lady he could lean on like Daenerys would help make his role that much easier. Robb couldn't help but agree, while Dany had the gentle look she was very smart and strong of will. Traits that made her more than qualified for the role of Lady of Winterfell.
