I gulped as I looked around the room for anything to defend myself with.

A chalkboard stretched across the wall with various desks and chairs facing it. Old decorations had faded with time, their friendly drawings now barely visible. I walked as quietly as I could towards the teachers desk.

Nothing. I took a deep breath and looked at a yard stick that lay on the ground. It stuck out...

I didn't know why.

I leaned in for a close second before my eyes were led to the flag at the corner of the room. There!

Long, sharp, it would make do as a spear.

Another boom came outside as mommy was distracted. I had to do this quick! I ran up to a desk and scrambled up top. my breathing was shaky as I stood at my tip toes to pull the flag pole.

Forget the fact I only heard of spears in dungeons and dragons campaigns- much less knew how to use one. I had to kill Mommy. I needed SOMETHING. The tips of my fingers barely reached.

I gritted my teeth at the noise as I jumped on my tip toes and finally grabbed onto the pole. It slipped from my grip and clanked loudly on the floor.

Oh no.

There was silence as Mommy stopped looking through whatever she was to listen. I gulped and bent down slowly. I cursed my hands for shaking as they gripped the pole.

"Is someone cheating?"

Shit-

"Mommy doesn't like cheaters..."

Without thinking I bolted out of the room.

What was i doing?

Where was i going?

I panted frantically as I heard Mommy cackle and groan. I looked behind me. She had definitely caught on and was chasing me.

WAIT!

I scrambled past a corner in the labryinyth of hallways and jumped down a hole.

What had I seen?

What was that?

Mommy was made of elastic plastic. That i knew. Her toy was supposed to have stretchable limbs that went on and on but this-

Her neck, her arms and fingers, even her hair seemed pulled and extended as she stretched herself long distances. Her distorted groans echoed the sound of old stretched plastic.

I turned another turn before meeting a dead end. There was a door that had to be opened with my grab pack.

I threw my hand up onto the sensor as I heard her turn through the corner.

Crap.

I looked back at the sensor slowly loading to open the door while she came closer.

Crap! Crap! Crap!

"I have you now Audrey~" she sung. "Good game!"

Desperate to buy some time i threw my makeshift spear at her. The tip missed, barely doing any damage while the pole clanked against her head making her pause and rub her head. It had scratched her face leaving a white mark where pain had come off. She growled as her eyes dilated further.

I grinned as the door dinged and finally opened. I threw myself down into the small opening, sliding inside before jumping to my feet.

"There's no escape!" I heard her yell as I ran again. I scanned the room before seeing a lever. I looked back to see a giant grinder on the wall. I grinned as she raced through the door.
