Sophia's POV
I honestly couldn't piece together what was going on.
I pushed Abel off of me and eyed him suspiciously. "Y-you... You tried to kill me?" I said backing up towards the door.
"Sophia wait a second."
"I..." I had so many thoughts going on in my head. I turned to open the door, but Abel slammed it closed.
"Where are you going?"
"Stay away from me!" I said moving away from him.
"Sophie-"
"Don't... Don't Sophie me, okay? Just...just open the door so I can leave."
"Leave?" He said angrily. "Where exactly are you going?"
"I just...I need time to think Abel, just-"
"Think about what, huh? Huh?! What! Are you gonna just leave me!"
"No I'm-"
"Go ahead and try it, Sophia and see what I do!"
He knocked over the lamp that was on the night stand.
I studied his stance and it was that of a killer.
I know killers and in my eyes, at that moment he looked like one to me.
"Abel listen-" He pushed me up against the wall and placed his strong hands around my neck.
At first he was angry, but his angry look faded quickly.
I've never cried in front of a man before, but right there I felt tears begin to fall down my face.
He wiped my tears away.
"Baby...I'm...I'm sorry..." he moved his hand away from me, but I was afraid to move away from the wall.
"I don't know what came over me... I just... I love you. I love you so much Sophie and all I've wanted was to just see you and hold you for so long. When I got to your house and I saw Tony I thought that was you...something in me snapped."
"S-snapped?" I pushed him back and ran back towards the door. I ran down the hallway to the elevator and I could hear his footsteps follow after me.
I pressed the buttons frantically. "Come on! Come on...!"
"What's the matter Sophie? You don't love me anymore?"
"Leave me alone!" I screamed opening the buttons.
"You can't hide from me!"
I got in the elevator and pressed the button that closed the doors.
I heard him hit doors.
"You can't run from what we have!"
"Abel stop!"
"You're mine Sophia!"
"You're crazy!" I shouted backed.
I got out the elevator and ran outside to my car.
I got in my car and locked my doors. I held on to my steering wheel and sobbed uncontrollably. I couldn't believe what just happened.
I've known him for almost five years now and he's never acted like this.
"I don't understand this." I said wiping my tears away. I drove back to my house and there was an officer outside.
I tried to go in but the turned me away.
