Sophia's POV
Nicole and I walked into the hospital and found Michael's room.
When I got there, my brother Leslie was there with his wife and children and Michael's wife and kids were crying.
Vito and his girlfriend were there and my father... No where to be found.
"Leslie!" I ran up to my brother and he hugged me.
"Va bene. Sta andando tutto bene. (It's going to be okay)" He whispered as he patted my back.
I wiped my face.
"Cosa gli è successo? (What happened to him?)" I said.
"E 'stato colpito al petto. Era sulla strada per prendere i bambini da scuola. Il proiettile poco mancato il suo cuore. ( He was shot in the chest. He was on the way to pick up the kids from school. The bullet barely missed his heart.)"
"Oh, mio fratello, è lui ce la fara? (Oh my brother... Is he going to make it?)"
He nodded at me and I held on to my chest as I panicked.
"L'hai visto ancora? (Have you seen him yet?)"
"No lui è in condizioni critiche. (No he's in critical condition)"
"Dov'è papà? (Where's dad?)"
"Sta lontano prendersi cura degli affari. (He's away taking care of business) He's on his way."
"Chi ha fatto questo? (Who did this?)"
"Not sure yet, but we have a feeling that romeo and his boys are behind this."
"Figlio di puttana. (Son of a bitch)"
I shook my head. "What was he even doing talking to Romeo?"
"Papa still does business with his kind and Michael is taking over the business soon. When Romeo found out that Papa was stepping down we had a meeting with him to discuss if we would still do business and Michael denied him."
"Cercò di colpire lui? (He tried to whack him?"
"Si."
"Lo lo uccidere a sangue freddo. (I will murder him in cold blood.)
"Easy Sophia. Dad has called a meeting we have to discuss this. Papa is getting old and Michael can't do his business in his condition. He may ask you or me to take over."
