Sophia's POVAbel and I were still hugging in the middle of the party.
He kissed my cheek and I nuzzled my head against his shoulder.
The party guest started clapping for us and I pulled away from him. He smiled at me and I held his hand.
"I'm so happy you're back." I said quietly.
He kissed my cheek again and then he turned his attention to his mother.
"Who's that that my mother is holding?"
"That's your son." He turned to me and gave me an astonished look.
"What?"
"That's Alexander and then the one in the high chair is Adrienne."
"Those kids are mine?"
"Ours."
"Sophia..." he looked overwhelmed.
"What? What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry I wasn't here to-"
"You're here now, okay? You're here now." I grabbed his hand. "You wanna hold them?"
"I... I don't know if-" I walked over to Abel's mother and grabbed Alexander.
"This is your daddy..." I said. Abel reached his hand out to hold him. Alex started to cry so I had to pull him back. "Shh... baby boy, don't fuss."
I rocked him in my arms. "He doesn't like strangers does he?"
"He'll get use to it Abel. He has too. He's just-" Alex reached for Abel. "He wants his daddy."
Abel took Alex from my arms and rocked him. "Hey little man."
"Oh my goodness... I didn't think I'd live to see the day..." Abel's mother said.
"Ma..." Abel said shaking his head.
I pulled Adrienne out of her high chair. "And this is your daughter...little adri."
"She looks like you." He said smiling at me.
"Your mom says that she has your eyes. Let's just be glad they don't have your hair, I don't think they'd be able to pull that off." I joked.
"Look how cute they are!" I turned my head and I saw Amy hanging off of Lamar. They were standing in the sliding door way.
"Hey Amy." I laughed.
"Aww Lammy I want a baby..." she slurred.
"Yo good luck with that Lamar!" Abel said as he held Alex.
"I don't want a baby."
"You always wanna fight Lamar just give me a baby!" Lamar picked her up and put her over his shoulder.
"Baby stop all that talking you're drunk."
"Just a little bit..."
"I'll see y'all later." Lamar said.
I smiled at Abel and shook my head.
"Those two are fucking nuts, god bless 'em." I said.
"I just hope the kids look more like Amy than Lamar." Abel said.

I was cleaning up the house while Abel played with the twins.
He was sitting on the couch with one of the twins asleep on his stomach and the other in his arms. He was singing to them.
