Day of release
Sophia's POV
When I came to see Abel the other day, all he wanted to do was convince me that I don't need him.
Today I was picking him up from the facility.
I honestly had no clue what to expect from him today.
I was worried that he would go somewhere else if I didn't come and get him, so the kids and I came.
We waited outside since I couldn't bring children inside.
Then he walked through those automatic doors.
I didn't want to smile, but I couldn't help it.
I honestly loved him.
He smiled at me.
"Hey Sophie." He smiled walking over to me.
He bent down and played with the babies while they were in the stroller.
"Hey Alex and Adrienne..., how's my favorite double duo? Did you miss your dad?"
Alexander and Adrienne still couldn't talk so they both started laughing and clapping their hands.
Abel's smile was just priceless. He loves the twins.
"Abel stop it, you're going to make them restless."
He looked up at me and then stood up.
"I can't get a hello?" He smiled.
"You can get in the car." I walked the stroller over to the car door and opened it.
Abel helped me put the babies into their car seats and he put the stroller in the trunk.
When we got in the car he wanted his phone.
"What do you want your phone for? So you can call some kind of moving service to leave?"
"No Sophie. Just tell me where the hell my phone is."
"Who are you trying to call?"
"Lamar, god damn it!"
"Aye, youse watch who the fuck you're talking to, alright? I'll throw ya fucking phone out the window you fucking mook."
"Just give me my phone."
I took his phone out of my purse and threw it in his lap.
He gave me a look.
"Watch yourself baby."
"You watch yourself, ya fucking mooly. All that shit you were talking yesterday really pissed me off."
"Baby-"
"Fai la tua piccola chiamata cazzo di telefono. Idiota. ( Make your little fucking phone call. Dumbass)."
I rolled my eyes and pulled out of the parking lot.
I listened to what Abel was saying.
"Yeah no. You got everything set up? Aight good. No I'm heading home with Soph and the twins. 30 minutes tops. Aight, peace."
When he hung up I frowned at him.
He laughed.
"What now Sophie?"
