At four in the morning, the snow intensified a bit.

As Thanapon stepped out, he casually grabbed a thinner coat from the doorway.

Handing the helmet to Sailub, Thanapon noticed that Sailub's face was pale.

His lips, now lacking their usual color due to dryness, appeared slightly tense, giving off a matte finish.

In the night, he looked like a delicate and fragile porcelain.

Avoiding eye contact, Thanapon mounted the motorcycle, donned his helmet, and said, "It's too cold, drive your car."

Sailub nodded, put on the helmet, and sat behind him. "Where are we going?"

Thanapon didn't reply, just reminded him, "Hold on tight."

Sailub's hands, supporting Thanapon's waist, gradually moved forward until they encircled his waist.

Resting on Thanapon's back, Sailub tightened his grip, and only then did Thanapon twist the throttle, propelling the motorcycle forward amid the roar of the engine.

Twenty minutes later, the motorcycle stopped in front of Sailub's house.

Thanapon turned off the engine. "Go inside and get the car keys."

Sailub took off his helmet, dismounted, and walked toward the steps.

After taking a few steps, he stopped.

"Pon," he turned around to look at Thanapon, "I don't regret letting you record your fingerprints."

These words had been stuck in his chest for a long time, and now, he finally felt a bit relieved after uttering them.

However, Thanapon had no particular reaction, just a faint acknowledgement, "Hmm."

"Shall we go in together?" Sailub asked again, his voice lowered this time.

"I'll lock the bike," Thanapon bent down to lock the motorcycle without looking at him, "You go get it."

After standing still for a few seconds, Sailub turned around again and walked alone towards the steps.

After retrieving the car keys from inside, the two got into the car.

As the car hit the road, no one spoke for a long time.

In the quiet car without music, only the low hum of the engine could be heard.

The neon lights along the road gradually became sparse, disappearing from view until the car entered the outskirts.

Observing the familiar scenes on both sides of the road, Sailub vaguely knew where Thanapon was taking him.

It was at this moment that Thanapon spoke, "Is this road familiar?"

Sailub replied with a quiet "Hmm."

He was undoubtedly familiar with it. Not only had he been here many times himself, but he had also taken Thanapon on this road when they went to the music festival to relax.

However, he didn't understand why Thanapon brought him here now.

It was a little past four in the morning, and there was no way the music festival would be starting at this time.

If they were here to watch the sunrise or sunset, a little after four in the morning wouldn't be the right time.

The road was dimly lit with few streetlights, and in the distance, it looked pitch black.

There was none of the open, expansive feeling he had when watching the sunset that day.

Being in the midst of it all, it even gave rise to a kind of confusion, a sense of not knowing where the end was, making it impossible to talk about relaxation.
