Adeline's pov

Eventually I make my way to his office finding it and before I even go in I can already tell it's big with a dark aura I hesitantly knock on "come in" I here a stern voice say I slowly open the door it had a dark intimidating aura just like Alex him self the walls are black and theres large tall framed picture in the center above a fire place it's of tow people they look like a couple the man's got dark brown hair with a cleanly cut beard with a nice smile Alex looks a lot like him but Alex is a lot younger and the women is very pretty has long light brown hair with the same eye color as me hazel as well as our matching freckles I put the pieces together and reading there names Isabella Russo and Leonardo Russo those were my freaking parents I got taken away from when I was kidnapped by John I didn't even know what to think so I quickly revert my gaze so Alex doesn't catch me staring "sit Adeline" he says a little coldly he was already sat down at his large desk I make my way over to the chair on the other side of his desk opposite him he's got a computer facing him in the corner as well as lots of paper work neatly piled across his desk hmm must be for all there business they have i shrug it off he stairs down at me with his cold eyes and intimidating facade he naturally looks like he means business

"am I in trouble?" I ask the dredging question looking down "No sorellina" he says and I let out breath I didn't know i was holding in "I just want to talk to you about our rules" he tells me "rules?" I look up slightly worried what if there the same as my dad "yes there simple don't worry" he says probably noticing my worry as he picks up a of paper and passes if me "those are the rules" he answers my puzzled face

1. Respect your brothers and be kind
2. You can swear just not at ur brothers
3. No Alcohol
4. No drugs
5. You must listen to your brothers
6. If you leave the house you must tell on of us (you won't be going far anyways)

Is that it? I think to my self those a simple nothing like the ones John had where are all of the chores I used to spend most of my day cooking and cleaning for John i look confused but quickly hide it "oh okay" I nod maybe there just saying that for now to trick me and then they'll hurt me later.. I look back up at him putting the piece of paper down "what happens if- if I break them" I ask hesitantly "then you'll be punished" punished? My eyes widen "w-what do you mean?" I ask John's punishments would always result in me being beaten black and blue until I passed out and having glass bear bottles thrown at my head "either you'll grounded or get your phone taken off you depends what you do principessa" I get even more confused but visibly calm I didn't exactly know what to say to busy wondering why there not hurting me instead

"you'll also be starting school soon" and that's when my heart drops I shoot him a wide eyed look "you'll be going with Xander,Marco and Lucas" he tells me "I thought they already fished school?" I ask "they decided to do an extra year of college which is connected to the high school" he explains "oh okay when do I start" I dreading the answer "two weeks" he says going to look at his computer "TWO WEEKS?" I exclaim coming out a lot louder then I intended to and I quickly slap my hand over my mouth "i- uh sorry" I say and strangely he just had a small amused smirk on his face his usually that would of earned me a good punch "Don't worry principessa you'll be going shopping tomorrow for supplies" he says "but I don't have any money" and that's when he looks up at me again like he scans me for a minute with his eyes I can tell he's looking for something but he won't find anything "your not paying we are" he eventually answers "but-" I was going to insist it was fine but I'm cut of my a stern look by Alexander whilst saying "not buts" I nod and sigh slightly and leaning back not wanting to get him mad

"You'll be getting some other bits as well bambina" Roman says as if appearing from no where making me jump and turn around to see him and Elijah "when did you get here?" I ask confused "we've been here the entire time adds" Marco says coming from the other side of me making me flinch even more is there some sort of secret passage way in here I question my self turning back round "I don't need anything else" I explain I don't want them spending Money on me "don't think we haven't noticed your wearing the same clothes since you've arrived" Elijah says quite sternly I don't bother arguing back I can see there being serious and I don't want to get hit "you can leave if you wish soralina" Alex reassures me with a soft smile and I leave the room and make my way to mine

Alexander's pov

Adeline just left the room leaving me, Elijah, Roman and Marco they sit down on the sofa in my office "she doesn't seem to happy about school" Marco snickers "who would be" Xander chimes in from the door way leaning against the from with his arms folded I swear he's everywhere at this point we all roll our eyes "I forgot how cute she looks when she gets confused and stubborn" Elijah smirks "yeah tell me about it I had to bite back my smile" I reply "you've all gone soft" Xander scoffs crossing his arms and rolling his eyes "for her yes." Marco corrects his twin and we all agree non of us can deny she makes us soft with out her even trying

"Okay we'll the twins and Lucas you will be the ones to take her shopping tomorrow and Marco your in charge and make sure you spoil her with everything she sets her eyes on and behave" I explain and warn them "me Alex and Roman are staying back we have work to do" Elijah adds on, Lucas was basically jumping up and down he's been the most excited since we got Adeline back, well we all have he just makes it more obvious

"WHAT! I'm not taking that thing shopping no way" Xander yells pissed of we were hoping he had gotten over his little issue I sigh fed up with his behavior "Xander watch that tone" Elijah glares at him "No! I don't even want her in this house she can go shopping her self she doesn't need babysitting" Xander retorts back "it's not a question Xander your going and you WILL be nice to her I'm sick of your behavior" I say standing up and leaning on the desk glaring at him he scoffs "yeah whatever fine but why is Marco in charge I'm older" he protested "we're twins!" Marco exclaims "I'm older by ten minutes" Xander says making Marco roll his eyes and Lucas bite back a laugh

"Marcos in charge because he's not been a dick to Adeline and loves her like you should Xander so drop the cold act" Roman points out making us all nod in agreement and Xander storms off "I don't get his problem" Lucas complains while we all sigh knowing what he's like "god as much as I love my twin I hate him at the same time" Marco sighs we all chuckle a bit "I don't understand it he was the most protective of her when she was little she could hardly ever fall asleep with out one of us but especially Xander" Roman reminds us as we all remember those times "don't worry I'll sort him out boys" I reassure them seeing there frustrated and confused faces and everyone goes there separate ways
