May's POV

A few months has passed and trending all throughout the media is #Mayne (Jermaine and May). They have been the couple of the year. Everything was perfect. Her album went platinum and the relationship between her and Jermaine was getting better with time.

But the only thing that was on her mind was Kayla. Worried to death, she called Kayla everyday, but never got through to her. She drove by her house periodically as well, but she was never there. She eventually went to the police and they couldn't help her either.

(In the T.D.E. Conference room with Anthony)

May: (Lays head down on table) How many times I got to tell you Ant, I don't want a party.

Anthony: And why not? My favorite artist just went platinum! I want to celebrate!

May: YOU KNOW IM NOT YOUR FAVORITE! (Gives him that "Man, whatever" face)

Anthony: (Chuckles) ... May, I really want to celebrate. Your second album went platinum. You're a platinum selling artist. Aren't you happy?

May: Anthony, of course I'm happy, but sells don't mean shit to me and you know that. And you should also know by now that I am not the partying type either.

Anthony: How about this, I throw you a party, you go to the party, and you TRY to have fun. (Smiles)

May: (Looks at him) Is that your nice way of saying, " You're having this party if you like it or not"?

Anthony: (Smiles)...

May: (Looks at him)...

Anthony: (Smiles more)...
May: (Glares a little)...

Anthony: (Smiles and raises shoulders) ...

May: OK, FINE. You look so weird when you smile.

Anthony: Thank you. (Looks at watch) Damn, I'll talk to you later. Also, before I go I set you up with a interview with Vevo.

May: Alright.. (Watches him leave).. Ugh.. (Lays head back down)..

Kendrick: (Knocks on door open door) Hey.. Can I talk to you?

May: What's good?

Kendrick: (Pulls up a chair next to her) .. I almost forgot you was apart of T.D.E. You been in New York with Jermaine for so long, I could have sworn you joined Dreamville.

May: Just because I'm not in Cali, doesn't mean I'm not loyal. I still rock T.D.E.'s gear faithfully and shout out Black Hippy on the daily.

Kendrick: Oh... Congrats on going platinum. I knew you could do it.

May: Thanks.. (Gets up) Well nice talking to you..

Kendrick: (Stands up) May.. Wait.

May: (Looks back at him) Yes Kendrick?

Kendrick: I'm sorry, ok. I miss our friendship. I miss our phone calls. I miss us. You just don't know how hard it's been without you.

May: ... (Sits back down and looks at him)...

Kendrick: I know you're mad at me. I would be too. I didn't know she was pregnant May. I want to be with you. I know you are with Jermaine, but be real with yourself, he was a rebound and you know it.

May: ...

Kendrick: I'm not asking you to jump back into my arms.. I'm just asking for another chance. You said you trusted me. You said you loved me. What happened?

May: ...
