"ANSWER ME."

.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.

"Andi.."

Looking back, she found her uncle making her way towards her. After he came back from getting food, Mira was in tears telling her father that Andi had left. "I'm sorry about Sora. She has a harder time processing.." Kenji spoke, his voice low as he stood beside her.

Andi had picked out a spot in front of the ocean, the heavy breeze hit them both. "Andi, may you come back inside? I don't want you getting sick." he gently tapped her shoulder. "Why..Why'd you guys change my name?" she asked, meeting his gaze. The question caught him off guard.

"I like Jiseun..Jiseun's a pretty name.." Andi muttered, deciding to go back inside. Kenji followed behind her. "We thought it'd be better for you.." he said. She could only stay silent, she wanted to say more but it wasn't the right time to. Andi wanted to wait until the situation had passed.

"Does Sora hate me that much? She's always been a sister to me even if we're technically not." Andi said. "She doesn't hate you Andi." She couldn't believe anything he was saying. Turning to face him, she stared at Kenji with tears in her eyes. "Then why is she so rude to me? She's been that way since we met! How come I've done nothing to her yet she always finds a way to hate me?"

"Her being mean to me doesn't come from her grieving her mother when she was alive the moment we met! My mom died.." her voice croaked. The tightness in her throat made it harder to speak. "I was erased from everything I had and Sora can be excused to being mean to me when I did nothing to her?!"

"Why did you change my name? You guys didn't even ask me! I loved my name because every time I heard it all I could think about were my parents! My mom and dad!" Andi tilted her head. The absolute pain in her voice, her eyes, her body language, she felt everything get stripped away from her before she could even call it her own.

"My old house is gone! I can't even remember what it looks like anymore!" her body was suffocating itself. She felt like she couldn't breathe and her hands shook. Maybe this was the result of keeping everything in for years. Her body just wanted to give out. Kenji stared at her, wondering what to do as she sobbed.

"I'm sorry Andi."

"I just want to go home.."

The girl pushed past her uncle, heading back to the hotel. She wanted to sleep her emotions off, get through the funeral and get back to her dorm.

of pocket and I know Mark will get
me on eventually

JISUNG
I came to visit you the other day but
Doyeon said you were in Jeju. I hope
everything is okay

JISUNG
I know I'm quite busy these days

He couldn't be upset that she wasn't replying to him but Jisung wanted to talk to her. Doyeon had told him that she had came back from Jeju no more than a week ago and she had yet come to work. She thought she must've quit.

Doyeon and Minjin had went up to her dorm but all they could hear were light pencil taps on the desk. She was writing. Andi was writing songs and numerous drafts to the previous ones she had already written. Her friends tried catching her after her classes but she was way too quick to leave.

They understood she wanted space but they didn't know how long that was going to last. Andi was continuously drowning herself in her own sorrows. She had quit her job and solely focused herself in school. It's been a while since she's been on her phone to the point where she didn't even remember where she had last placed it.

Jiseun was done with this song. She was quite surprised at herself. She envisioned the melody, the type of singers, the beat, everything. She then heard a ding coming from her laptop, going over to her emails as she stopped at the name of her professor popping up. She was nervous as to what he was going to say to her, what he thought of the song.

So she pressed on it.

Kwon, Andi
Song Assignment: No One But You
Good Evening, Ms. Kwon, your lyrics were further examined by an outside source and would like to speak to you as soon as possible. If you could come to my class by 10 am to discuss further details. Please and thank you.
Dr. Song

"Outside..source..?"

She reread the email hundreds of times but she couldn't understand what he meant by outside source. Just for a moment, her world had lit up from the complete darkness she was surrounding herself with. Maybe she was dreaming or perhaps she was getting her hopes up.

Andi stood up very quickly, her head spinning from the lack of nutrition. "Oh shit.." she muttered, running to the bathroom before she had threw up in her toilet. She needed to eat, to focus on herself. These past two weeks she's been surviving on nothing but small graham crackers and water just to fill her hunger.

She wondered how she wasn't dead yet. She felt weak. Looking around, Jiseun finally found use in searching for her phone. She had been so harsh in herself that she had forgotten her all about her outside life. Continuously cooped up in her dorm the second class ended, not letting any sun in.

She felt like a vampire. "Where is it?" Andi looked under her bed, flipping her sheets and throwing them everywhere. Luckily for her, it was just at twenty percent. Her phone vibrated against the wall as it was stuck between her bed. She let out a relieved sigh.

Her phone was ringing and she didn't know why. She was at work and usually no one really called her at this house except her mother. Though the look on her face after reading the contact name almost made her run out of her job.

"Andi?"

"I..I need help."

Minjin could hear her soft cries. She had missed her best friend and rarely had she ever come to her and Doyeon for help. Minjin wanted to cry with her. "I'm also really hungry.." she muttered, wiping her tears. "I'll get you food. Don't worry. I'll be there soon. Okay?" Minjin rushed over to the backroom and took off her apron.

"Bring Doyeon too."

"Of course. Andi, I'm so happy to hear from you."

"I missed your voices."

"Me too."
