Chapter 6 - Rei and Lindsey's Adventures

Tada! This story is back! I don't know why I'd been holding off on uploading this when it was all finished, maybe because I wanted to fine-tune it. But whatever, so enjoy this 6th chapter, readers!

-Rei's POV-

I feel my eyes slowly open, the sun flashing me to near blindness. I sigh, shaking my head, as I frown.

"Was that all a dream? Did mom really kick me out this time?"

I soon get up, as I look around, expecting to see my front yard and the neighborhood, but instead see nothing but an empty grassy field, nearly no trees or flowers all around, only grass moving from the wind.

"Is this a dream? No way, it can't be! My dreams are realistic, not fantasy crap like this! And I was in Elijah's living room too!"

I snarl, as I move my hands to scratch my head. My hands reach my head rubbing across rough scales, no hair felt despite me touching all over my head.

"WHERE IN THE HELL IS MY HAIR?!"

I move my hands back down, soon staring at them. Before my very eyes, are hands covered in bright red scales, pointed claws at the tips of my fingers, as the scales sheen from the brightness of the sun.

"HUH?! No way, no way! Is this really a dream?!" I shout, touching all over myself, from my face to my legs, realizing I truly have changed.

I get up, as I dust off myself. Now, if this really is a dream, how do I wake up? Usually I have dreams about my past as a bully, bullying other bully's... And Victor... But this is some sort of fantasy stuff. So, so, so, I must be dreaming about that Elysium game! I mean, I played it once, it wasn't half bad, definitely had that anime-like feeling with the characters and everything, not to mention it had some of the stuff I love, which is abilities, the power combos, and PVP tournaments and arenas.

"There's no way... Right?" I touch my face again, as I feel a somewhat long jaw "D-Did I... Elijah's favorite anime genre..."

I feel the long pause from myself, as my brain whirs to place a few missing puzzle pieces together. But if I am right, and everything's true right now...

"This is Isekai type stuff!! Did I really die from playing a game?! No way! It had to be my high sugar intake!! But I saw a white light from the screen... Am I in Heaven?! Wait, no... I don't think I've reached my redemption to Heaven yet..."

I look down at myself, and see my scaled legs and feet. Behind me, a long tail with a sort of ankylosaurus-like look on the end. I touch my mouth, and feel two sharp, pointy scales that could look like teeth jutting out from my bottom jaw.

"Hmm... Now, how would I do that Isekai type stuff now? Victor and Elijah always had me watch anime with them... So, maybe a special word?" I clear my throat, as I look in front of me "Arise! Abracadabra! Open sesame! Awaken! Open up! Open Inventory! Inventory!"

Nothing happens, as a slight breeze hits my face. My red scales sheen from the sun, my eyes twitching a little bit.

"Alright, fine.... Erect!! ...No? Hmm... What about a stat display? Or maybe a messaging system? Maybe I gotta do some hand gesture?" I think out loud, tapping my foot on the grass.

I outstretch my right hand, as I spin my thumb around, clench my fist, and swiping my index finger all around, basically doing any and all hand gestures I can think of. In the end, I end up turning my left hand upside down and a green and blue bar, and six slots appear, showing I have a wooden

"Hey, I got it! Finally, that took way too long. Let's see here, Bronze Shield... I believe that's a C-Grade. Peon Trident, that's C-Grade..." Without me knowing, my tail starts swinging side to side "Who knew playing with Vic and EJ would make me so knowledgeable and smart?!"
