Justin was going home. Yay. But not yay because what the actual fuck!? They took Twelve to jail? But apparently Justin hadn't actually done anything that was arrest worthy and wasn't being sent there. Felt unfair to them. I mean, if the police knew about the men that Twelve killed then maybe Justin would understand why she was being arrested. But they had no clue that was her! They didn't even have bodies! They were just arresting her for one little assault? Stupid. But oh boy, the dirty blonde was slightly glad that Hawkins didn't have an up to date police system because she had most definitely been arrested before and if the Lenora Hills PD knew about those then she'd probably get actually arrested for like. . .repeat offense or some sort of prisoner bias. Mike had run into the street and almost got killed by a van on the way out of the police parking lot. . .But that was the only really exciting thing that happened after Justin got out of jail. I mean, other than the weird agent spy people who showed up at the Byers' house. But nothing really cool happened. "I'm sorry- I- I guess I'm having trouble understanding any of this. I mean, what exactly is going on in Hawins? What's doing these killings?"

"That's what we're trying to ascertain." Some lady responded to Jonathan.

"Why'd you steal my favorite number?" Justin raised a brow. Her question was brushed off. How rude.

"Where is El? Like right now?" Mini demon asked.

"For her safety, it's best you don't know."

"This is insane! This is insane!"

"God, shut up." The puppy groaned. Oh yeah, he showed up at some point.

"So this training- I mean, to get El's powers back, how long is it gonna take?" Jonathan pressed.

"It could take weeks, could take months." The lady responded.

"Ex-fucking-scuse me!?" Justin jumped up, glaring at the super secret spy. "Months?"

"Until then, agents Harmon and Wallace here will stay with you."

"Uh. Fuck that."

"We're not the ones in danger!" Baby Wheeler denied.

"Our friends live in Hawkins!" Will shot.

"My family lives in Hawkins!"

"My dumbasses and the loves of my lives live in Hawkins!" Justin scowled.

"And I'll work to contain the situation until Eleven is ready."

"Who?" Justin blanked, tilting her head off to the side.

"In the meantime, it is of vital importance you do not speak to anyone about this."

"Oh, so you mean I shouldn't have called Ru? Whoops- I mean, I didn't yet, but I'm totally going to after you leave."

"I know this is difficult to understand-"

"It's not difficult. This is impossible."

"Can't you let the lady speak?" Will's boyfriend sighed, running a hand along his face.

The woman stood up. "There are factions within our government who are working directly against Eleven, who are, in fact, searching for her as we speak. We can't risk contact. If they learned about any of this, it will jeopardize Eleven. And if Eleven is jeopardized, so are your friends. And so is your family."

Mike scoffed. "So, what? We're just supposed to trust that you're the good guys? Whoever you are?"

"We're friends of Owens." There was a lull in the exchange of words. "Eleven trusted us. Now we're asking the same from you." She pulled a card out of her pocket and held it out to Wheeler jr. "For you."

"I'm sorry, you lost me with this 'Eleven' business. Is that some like. . .weird brand or something?" Justin frowned gently, watching Jonathan sigh and Mike walk upstairs.
