A New Partner

All I could see was darkness. I was freezing. Then there was a feeling of warmness. I closed my eyes in enjoyment. Then my eyes just snapped opened.

"Finally you're up!" Klarion said, pinning me to my bed. I rolled my eyes and coiled my arms around his. I then used my weight to push up and pin him down. He frowned in defeat.

"I thought I defeated you." He pouted. I laughed a little bit before getting off of him.

"Don't you know better than that?" I asked him. He smiled and leaned up towards me. His soft lips were planted on mine. I put a hand on his cheek and brushed it softly. We were like two puzzle pieced that fit perfectly together.

When he stopped he said "I have a surprise." Looking away from my eyes.

"What is it?" I asked, still smiling.

"A new partner."

"Oh."

My smile dropped. He was still gazing away from me. He was searching everywhere except my eyes. I picked up his chin and peered my eyes into his.

"Who is this new partner?" I asked half heartedly.

"Her name is Sarah. She's a pyromancer. She casts spells of fire. Her villian name is Phoenix."

He grabbed my hands gently. I smiled and kissed him once again. Then we headed toward the entrance of my room. We walked down to the living room and sat on the couch. I sat down and he say next to me.

"When us she coming?" I asked him, my eyes narrowed.

He gulped and said "She should be here in about ten minutes." My eyes softened and I kissed his cheek. Then the door bell rang. Klarion snapped his fingers and the door opened. A girl with tanned skin, emerald eyes and cherry red hair came in. She wore a red and purple uniform from her neck to ankles as well as purple boots. On her arms were feathers like a phoenix.

"Hi." She said snobbishly. I rolled my eyes.

"Hi" Klarion finally said after a minute of silence. I roll my eyes again and walk up stairs, only to here the new brat talking to Klarion about me!

"Why is that piece of trash your partner?" Sarah says rudely.

"She's not a piece of trash!" Klarion yelled at her. She put her arms up in defense.

"Sorry. But she has no powers. I think that counts as being trash in my world."

My eyes widen then a wicked smile is plastered on my face. I walk back down and flames erupt in her hands.

"Well, well, well. Looks like we have a ease dropper." She said evilly. I just smirk. She shoots flames at me. I dodge them then did a round house kick to her face. I knocked her down then kicked her in her stomach. Blood was dripping down her nose and mouth.

"Wow, I can beat you without any powers. How's that for your 'world'?" I asked wickedly. What she didn't know is that was mercy. If I went full Enchantress on her, she would be nothing more than a small dust pile.

I looked at Klarion, who was smiling cruelly at me. "Good job." He said to me. He turned his head toward the Phoenix. "You see Sarah, neither of us tolerate people like you." He said viciously to Sarah. I snickered at the comment when she started to get up.

To help her up I grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the wall. "Next time, I will show no mercy for you. And you will be lucky to be alive if I make that choice." I said coldly with no emotion. Then a smirk bounced on my lips before dropping the girl. She was gasping for breath as she held her throat. Fear forming in her eyes. Even Klarion seemed nervous when I looked at him. I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.

"Don't screw me over. Either of you. Or else you both die." I said more heartless than I have ever been.

They both nodded. I kissed Klarion firmly and whispered in his ear "I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me."
He nodded and I kissed him again.

I walked to my room. About ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. I looked up to see Sarah. I rolled my eyes and gestured for her to come in. She sat beside me on my bed.

"Listen," She started. "I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have said those things."

"It's all right. But screw me over and you will end up dead." I stated. She gulped. I smiled sweetly and she left. Klarion flashed in and I smiled at him wickedly. I kissed him gently. He kissed back and we stayed in my room for a while. No dirty minds or I'll zap you! That's a warning.
