A Big Date

Nicki's POV

It was late at the training area in the Head Quarters of the Light. I was working on some Sorcery that The Enchantress wanted me to work on. For some reason she was talking to Klarion, those two like eachother way to much. Even though my partner hardly ever talks about herself, I can tell she likes him. I think he likes her, I mean showing up all the time, joking around, having a cupcake war? It was just so obvious to anyone but them.

So anyway, I was blowing things up in the training room when the door opened.

"Hey Nick." Josh called. Nick is my nickname to him. "Hi." I say to him not looking at him.

"Whatcha doin?" He asked me. I still didn't turn aroumd and answered "Training."

I was getting annoyed with him asking me all these questions. "Okay, well I'm dieing." He said. I snapped my head around and he started laughing. I clenched my fists and punched him in the gut. He smiled weakly and said "At least I got your attention."

I rolled my eyes and punched him again. Klarion and The Enchantress came in and she laughed a bit. I rolled my eyes and Josh whispered to me "They totally like each other." I nodded in agreement.

He put his arm around my waist and I started to blush madly. I might have a huge crush on the blonde boy. The Enchantress shot him a look like she was going to kill him. He immediately removed his arms and she smirked, wickedly. Klarion smiled and whispered in her ear.

"Would you like to go out with me tonight?" Josh asked me. I stares in shock and smiled madly. I nodded excitedly. "Tonight, meet me in Star City at the main park at seven."

"Okay." I kissed his cheek and he blushed. The Enchantress hit him against the wall with her magic and hissed something at him that she didn't want me to hear. Klarion snickered so everyone could hear. Then the two walked out together and Josh got dropped. I laughed and continued training.

4 Hours Later

I was waiting in the park and it was five minutes to seven. I didn't see Josh. Before I came, the Enchantress helped me get dressed for my first date.

She let me pick out a dress, so I picked out a green and black dress. There are no sleeves on the dress, it has a string that ties around the neck. Then from waist up is black and on the skirt part is a pattern with vertical stripes going green, Black, Green. Then I wore a green amulet and black high heels.

I look around and realize it's seven. I decide to wait a few minutes before walking off. Then I hear foot steps, running towards me. I turn around and Josh is running toward me in a tuxedo. I push some hair behind my ear and blush. He rubs the back of his neck, sheepishly as he stops on front of me. Right now I'm staring up at his beautiful green eyes and he stares down at my brown eyes. We both turn a shade of pink.

He takes my hand and leads me down the side walk to a fancy, Italian restaurant I can't pronounce. We wait at the front and a waiter comes in and takes us to our table. I look at the menu and a woman with brown hair comes up and say "Hi, I'm Jada, I will be your waiter for today. Now what you two love birds like to drink?" Josh and I both blush a little and order our drinks.

She smiles and goes to the kitchen. "Well, that was interesting." Josh says quietly to me, as the waitress comes back, bring our drinks and setting them down on the table. "I'll leave you two a few minutes so you can decide what you want." She says before going to another table. I look at the menu before seeing out of the top of my eye, that Josh was staring.

I set down my menu and look at him. "What?" I asked annoyed. He blinks in surprise before blushing of embarrassment of being caught.

I laugh a little before going back to the menu. I get a buzz on my phone, it was the Enchantress.

I rolled my eyes and put my phone away. "So, What would you like to order?" I asked Josh.

"Probably the Pasta Alfredo. What about you?"

"Same. It's my favourite."

Jada came back and we ordered our food. I noticed Josh was still looking at me, so to knock him out of his thought I leaned over and slowly pecked his lips. He blinked in surprise and blushed even harder. He kissed me and I kissed back. We kissed for a while before we were interupted by our food.

We ate fast, then paid and walked out. Josh put his arm around my waist as we walked to an alley way, where I opened two portals. We kissed goodbye before we went our separate ways. I ended up in the mansion and Klarion was having dinner with the Enchantress. I facepalmed and walked up to my room and fell asleep.
