A Major Surprise

Nothing else happened after that Halloween. The weeks went on as normal. Thanksgiving was strange for the students from New Zealand but they got used to it. On Thanksgiving I was informed by Juniper and Flavia that they were not leaving this town due to the fact that they switched their universities over to America. Flavia's dad is paying for both of their classes here.

The weeks rolled by, Christmas went past, New Years, The Next Winter season of television shows and anime, which there was not many interesting shows in my opinion. Now let's cut back to today, February 25th. The day where I am now dumbfounded in thought.

I stood there in front of her with my mouth agaped. I was shocked by the question that she had asked me. She looked up to me with a worried face. I stood there without any words coming out of my mouth. The snow outside the bus station piled as the people walked past us in the snow.

In my grey jacket and light brown pants stood there in front of the girl who had just asked me out. I was not shocked by the fact I was asked out by a girl, I was shocked by the girl who had just asked me out. The girl who had just asked me out surprised me in how sudden her question was. She was,

Flavia.

I stood there shocked for a little bit. She leaned closer and asked blushing, "Umm! Was that too sudden? I am sorry if you feel embarrassed or anything! You can say no if you want to!"

"Uh," I was able to speak again, "Sure."

She jumped up blushing with her hand coming up in a surprised motion. Her face was bright red with confusion in her face. To be honest I was confused too. We both stared at each other blushing. She then scooted towards me and sat down next to me. We both sat there.

"So, whe-when is our first date?"

I thought about it for a moment. When should be our first date? Well, tonight is the premiere of a new episode to that one anime that is just like Lost, I can not miss that. Tomorrow I had no classes! "Maybe tomorrow."

On the couch of my dorm I was trying to cool down. At least in one hour the nine o'clock show will come on at least. Tony entered the dorm with an older student. The student seemed to look like he is around twenty four years old! The guy had to be going for a major degree if he was a student.

I sat up to see Tony ready to introduce me to this guy, "Oh," Tony said raising his hand in front of the guy. He said, "This is Walker Caleries, we have to work on a project in class together."

"I see. Well, my name is Dominic Viceman." I said as I show the man smiling.

Walker said, "Nice to meet you Mr. Viceman." For some reason I felt uncomfortable around this guy. His smile was extremely sinister. I wonder what degree this guy was going for. He asked me, "I might have to ask you, if you had only one chance to save the world would you choose to save the world or your own personal desires?"

What was with this guy!? And what was he trying to ask me? It was a strange question to be asking someone you just met. I scratched my chin and replied, "What would you choose?"

"Heh. That is my question." Holy crap, this guy knows I was trying to manipulate him so that I did not have to answer.

I said, "Well, I would have to.... Wait, what did you mean by personal desires?"

"I meant by something that you like and you think it is great."

Tony said, "Personal desires? Dude, you are making something so innocent sound like a question like, Do you choose to save the world or your own personal fetish?"
