"You got to be kidding me."

I sat at my computer desk thinking about what the hell had just happened. So, basically this group of doctors and a sick man approached me and recruited me to help them stop a terrorist group from spreading an unknown illness to the world with fundings from a beauty care company.

I rubbed my temples thinking about what had happened. All of the sudden a big event popped up. I was over with the whole Mordecai conspiracy. All of what happened to me was nothing I wanted. I was a student going against one of the world's most influential company that is supporting terrorists!

Maybe this is all a joke. No, the lead director of a damned hospital was talking to me about this! Dammit! This is all too much. I banged my fists nearby my computer and screamed out a few curse words. I was pissed off in what had just happened. Good thing Tony was not here to hear my anger.

"This is not actually happening is it! Goddammit!" I slammed my hands on the keyboard making some of the keys jump out of their positions and fly up nearby my lighted computer screen. I cursed as I moved my hand up and away from the dented keyboard. Wires poked out from behind the keys I slammed my fist on.

I leaned back on the chair I sat on. Who knew that almost every person at the local hospital is involved with a conspiracy involving a biochemical terrorist group and one of the world's largest beauty care organization. Of course they had to suck me in for believing Josh in his almost unbelievable disease claims.

Now, I have to help out my local hospital to help cure a disease? I was having a great date with Juniper until I left the restaurant. If I were to go with her to her apartment it would have been a better outcome for me. Things could have been worse if Juniper did not come to ask me out, the man was waiting for me in the alley.

Juniper. Thinking of her made me think things about what could happen to the people around me. I am already involved with this and maybe my friends and family will be too. Shit. Everyone I know is in danger. Josh, we were friends but I have to say screw you for pulling me into this mess and you will never repay me even in hell or heaven. Where ever we both go to.

I woke up to be on the couch. I apparently crashed a few minutes after breaking my keyboard. It was apparently early the next morning. Around five thirty in morning and I was awake. I stood up from the couch and stretched out my arms. Might as well go to a nearby shop to buy a new cheap keyboard. I will be surprised to see if a store was actually open.

I picked up my light jacket and went out of the door. I was still in my pajamas so it was a little awkward walking out of my apartment at night. As I went down the stairwell of the apartment I lived in I realized that my phone was still in my jacket pocket. Relieved that I at least had my phone.

When I walked out of the apartment I felt the cool air outside. I shivered a little bit at the cold breeze. Continuing on my way to the nearest store I wondered about what the strange man told me, he told me that he was Patient Zero. Does that mean he was the first infected for the entire world or that he was the first infected in America.

The question filled my head when I saw a figure walk on the other side of the street. I turned to see who else was out here this early in the morning. It was somebody that I recognized. It was that one Walker guy that Tony was partners with for that one project. He also noticed me and started to walk my direction with a smile on his face.

If his smile did not make me uneasy enough, his forehead had a bruise on it that looked a little red and fresh not to my liking. I stopped in my place to see the four eyed man wearing a grey coat and and grey sweat pants. He stopped right next to me with the same smile he had from the other side of the road.
