Obsession ❤

❤️❤️ CHAPTER 1 ❤️❤️

"WOOHOO! ALEX IS SKINNY DIPPING WITH AMBER!"

I didn't believe the mansion I'd been forced to stay in after my biological father remarried, with his high school sweetheart who had a son the same age as me was the ideal place to live at the moment. The announcement of two teenagers doing inappropriate things by the lake outside the house made at least fifty percent of the occupants in the main lounge leave, revealing a group of males and females by the couches. I stayed back with a few others that were watching the card game they were preoccupied with. I let my eyes wander over each of the five males and two females who weren't dressed provocatively.

Lana Caesar had her amber eyes penetrating the silver-eyed blond male who didn't find interest in the game, but was staring out into the distance, "When's your sister getting here, Kaiden?" He questions stoically.

"End of the week, I know the drill." Kaiden Lavender says to him, rolling his eyes.

"What drill? Why do you have to be mean to her? It was her Father who married your Mom. Not her." Lana argues, giving the guys a look.

"She's a spoilt brat apparently. He gave her the top private level, I know all her shit got here, but I haven't been able to get in yet. I have to share a room on the same floor as both of them, and Princess perfect gets a whole fucking floor. Fifty bucks she's a pink-pom-pom wearing oxymoron." Kaiden sniggers at the last part, sounding bitter about the first part.

"Do we know what she looks like?" Olivia Lancaster was a pretty blue eyed blond, bleach blond though, clearly goes to the salon often and cares a great deal about make-up, perhaps in an artistic manner.

"Not yet, I'm supposed to pick up the bitch from the airport after school. Mom says if I act all sweet and welcoming, I'll get my own car." Wow, now who sounds more like the brat. I study him from my seat on a chair in the lounge corner. I knew for the next three months, I'd have to share this house with him while my father was still on his honeymoon.

"You want us to come?" Reid Nelson with his broad-shouldered form sitting upright, so uptight about his posture, eating healthy and maintaining his athletics, being a competitive combat team member and boxer at the school's range of clubs.

"I think the better question is why would you want to? I'm sending her a shitty cab service and by the time she gets here, I'll just make her say that I picked her up if my mother ever asks." Kaiden waves them off. I rented one of the school dorms anyway, the bags that were headed up to the room at this house were from everything that wasn't essential in the move. Nothing important in any of them.

"What if we're interested to see what the devil created?" Colton Veil, probably the biggest player in any school on any hemisphere. His deep brown, partially ginger strands were gelled back, pale-skinned, covered in freckles. Perhaps that playful aura did have a win with women, not even I could fully identify as to why they went for a man who most likely won't settle down.

I catch Olivia standing, before she walks over to where I'm sitting, "Having fun?" She asks me with a confused smile.

I nod to her, sitting up, "Yeah, not my first party. Kaiden's parties are always so legendary. I just feel bad for Amber though, normally she's more conservative than that." I tell her.

She blinks, "Oh my god, you're not new. Shit, I'm sorry, I thought you were a new student at the Academy. I'm so sorry, what's your name?" She asks me.

"Emma Randal, we have AP French together. I always sit in the back, glasses on with Ingrid. You're always at the front." I tell her, eating a chip.

She laughs under her breath, "Wow, I'm so self-involved, I'm sorry. That's right, you're with Ingrid. Do you love the class this year? So many new students came in since it became on open class for anyone. I hated that they changed that, now there's so many in the class." Oh, she's quite the talker.
