let's adopt him

Max had woken up to an empty bed again like the other days knowing well that his wife wasn't even in the house now

He prepared himself . He was now at the dining room having his breakfast when his son came greeting him and joining aswell in breakfast

Charlie: he has gone there again

Max: where else do you think he'll go if not there i spoke with him last night about his behaviour but still there is no change

Charlie: I think you should understand him

Max: I'm trying but things are just getting out of hand ........ what will people say when they see him spend his whole day there

Charlie: don't care about what people say dad ...... people will always talk even when not needed they talk

Max: uhm so how is it with the baby shower preparations

Charlie: everything is being handled by his family they said it's a special request as it is a way of them saying their goodbyes

Max: that's good to hear but help just to ease the burden of work

Charlie: uhm ........ by the way did you find out anything about the child's family or anyone distant relative

Max: I've checked everything and everywhere even asked if maybe the child's father came through but no..... what has made everything worse is the young man's death

Charlie: ohh I see so what are you doing with the child now

Max: well I'll be take him to the child home we own

Charlie: uhmm

After a good silence from the both and the continuous sound of knives hitting the plates the younger spoke

Charlie: dad

Max: uhm

Charlie: don't you think it's better if we adopt him

Max hearing that chocked on his food

Max: what did you say

Charlie: I said you should adopt the little guy seeing that Mae has grown attached to him

Max: I don't think that's needed

Charlie: but it is remember the doctor told us to give him something that he'll  feel he has to protect

Max: I know but

Charlie:but what dad you want Mae to stop going out a lot, bring him the reason his continuously out if not he will continue and I believe it's for the best not only for him but you aswell ........though you act strong I for one know you're hurting so give yourself a chance aswell and I promise you won't be disappointed

Max: I'll think about it

Sky: yes

Porsche: I believe you know why am here and most was heard already

Sky: yeah

Porsche: all am here to ask is your understanding....... I know we've not been in good terms lately but I promise you I'll never disregard you as a member of this family

I for one know how it feels to be hated and I wouldn't want someone else feeling the same way because of me

Sky: I know

Porsche:good now if I may you should try fixing whatever is happening between you and your parents ......... I know it will be hard but just try if not for you then for your mother and sibling
